[Cynical]

I wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about this.  I think Shallner from (CoS) runs this build but I am not sure  There where a few of us last night in Ts3 I was in a different borderland with Ugly Ducky getting my gank was so much fun crystal desert seems to have some pretty good players.  So x Fear x, bbkun, menorah kept talking about these 2 elementalists from Magumma so I had to see it for myself.

What I can gather from the build is possibly Runes of Earth or possibly runes of Lyssa.  They get alot of boons constantly and sometimes would get all the boons you can have.  Using water blast field to heal and also the frost breath seems to regen health too.  I think I could have taken 1 of them but it would be close definitely no 2 of them at the same time.   The burst is decent from the beginning then I think they just wear you down through there high defense setup.

Anyone have any information on this build?  I need to check it out for weaknesses.

For those that want to fight it ... if you are a Mesmer, removes boons on shatter, arcane thievery, null field, greatsword, sword, etc. are all great ways of removing/stealing those boons and returning the elementalist to their place as a squishy clothie

I'm sure the necros out there are aware of how to handle boons as well

I will share the weakness though.

You want to stop his movements with stuns, also you want to make him fall to the ground a lot.

Also, Sebrent is right. The most annoying ones for me are those that remove the boons because this build is really dependent on the boons.

For putting the elementalist on his/her ass, Magic Bullet (pistol), Temportal Curtain (focus), Illusionary Leap + Swap (MH sword), Illusionary Wave (gsword), and Signet of Domination (utility-signet) are wonderful.

I go back and fourth with what I use.

I carry all my weapons as it helps to get across the map quicker, or depending on what skills I want to use at the time. I also have many armor sets depending on what I want to accomplish.

Been doing some sPvP and found a build that rapes em.

Rapes mesmers too.

This build is a little ridiculous IMO. And even when you get close to killing them they can kite 30 people for days. ;3

Best part of the bunkerele is even if you think you are going to win, they can leave.  If they are norns, fuggedaboutit.

This is for Elemental?  I would be interested - I am constantly changing and trying new things, and I can keep a secret

I do the same - carry all of my weapons.  I am still working on getting the different armor sets I need to accommodate what I'm doing in game.

Ah yes. We wouldn't want to help out other players and share builds with one another - that might make someone feel less elite and special. Why post at all?

well, it is something someone worked hard for. If you're not interested enough to learn it then no id rather a smaller amount of people know this build coz yeah you're right it's really THAT good o.o

The reason I won't ask you for it in-game is because this silly secrecy is elitist, not because I don't care about learning about builds. I love learning about things in the game. However, I'm also a fan of sharing knowledge with everyone - withholding information after publicly claiming to have it is rather petty, to say the least. This bizarre mentality is a bit perplexing and is quite honestly what turns me off to it in many games.

Have fun with your secret build in the time before it inevitably becomes common knowledge, I suppose. Some people...if you were half as good as you seem to think you are, others' knowledge of your build stats wouldn't matter, lolz

I watched a video of something that looked like a similar build awhile ago. I think it was Wooden Potatoes talking about his spike damage he could do on his ele.

Most of the current D/D tanky builds are based on this or this with some variations.

Yeah, watching the video I'd gathered it was just a variation on the standard aura/traits in each tree builds. Good to see he shot his precious secret in the foot with that.

There will always be base traits where you will revolve your build around.Rest will depend on your playstyle.
