Some of you (not just you Drake!) have expressed concern that we didn't have a screenshot competition this month yet.  Last month we had a couple competitions and the one which had a shorter submission period as well as the one-day-voting event had higher participation so I decided to go with that for future competition.

The theme for this competition is: Fractals of the Mists

Rules

• Send unaltered screenshots as email attachment to thuley@ehmry.com, include your forum name in the email so I know who sent it.
  
• Screenshots need to retain their original file name gw***.jpg.  It's a LOT harder to me to process screenshots that were renamed to something else, so please do not rename your screenshot submission.
  
• Screenshot must be submitted by December 1st 00:00 server time.
  
• Only Ehmry Bay players are eligible.
  
• One entry per member.

Voting

• Voting will start on December 2nd 00:00 server time.
  
• Voting will close on December 3rd 00:00 server time.
  
• Thuley will cast a tiebreaker if needed.

Prizes

• 1st place, a $25 Domino's Pizza gift certificate - get stuffed (again)!
  
• 2nd & 3rd place, 10 unidentified dyes each (sorry Jillabee!)
  
• If the 1st place winner isn't US/Canada based we will figure something out.

It's because the custom title overwrites whatever normal titles there would be based on post count.

What do we take a screenshot of? The Mists as in the scenery? Or of our character in the Mists?

I believe it's mostly supposed to be themed around the new dungeons Fractals of the Mist. Although I guess if you want to be all artsy fartsy I guess you could say it's up to your interpretation.

Ok, newbie question. *Don't laugh.* How do I get to the dungeon? Does your character need to be a certain level to be able to go?

*Laughs* jk jk  you can enter the dungeon by going to lions arch. Once there if you open the map you'll see a dungeon door icon, go there and you can enter the dungeon. You don't need to be a specific level as it will up scale you to 80 but because you have lower level gear your survivability will suffer but you can participate.

Yeah basically this is mainly for level 80 characters, which is an unintended consequence because I just didn't think about that not everyone is at 80 yet.  That won't happen again and future contests will ensure that everyone has an equal chance in participating.

Strictly speaking you could probably take a screenshot of the entrance to the Fractals and have that be your entry, probably kind of tough to do without hordes of players in front of it though.

Well..the start of the dungeons is always enemy free. So you can just pop in and out of the fractals until you get one that has a starting area that you think would be good for a screenshot.
You could even go in alone haha. Just don't get mad if you die...I think the swamp one and the grawl one are the only ones that would have that chance though.

If you want to get some screens, I wouldn't have too many problems taking an underleveld person in through a fractals lvl 1 or something like that. Although, the due date is like..tonight...I'll probably do a run or two for screenshots tonight haha. If you see me on and want to join in, just whisper me.
