Well I'm finally set up with enough karma to finish off the obsidian shards I need for my legendary. I'm going to try to get a temple run going tonight. Let's say we'll meet in Straits of Devastation at 7:00 pm Eastern. That's 7 hours from now. From there we can find out what the status of the escorts is and if we need to unbug any of them. Then on the temple.

My guild will have an event tonight and one of them is opening balthazar. If it's not opened yet after we go one round at cursed shore, we will go there and open it up.

On Ehmry it's being opened frequently, often by a combined effort of multiple guilds though I have seen [nevr] taking the lead quite often.

I remember the last Balthazar guild run...the game trolled us with the guy standing and refuses to move forth. T_T Guess my luck streak is always just that bad, :<

The last guild Balthazar run that I went to the boss had jumped from 5% to 30% health at around the 20 seconds remaining mark. >.>
Balthazar is pretty easy though when the group's DPS is high, as it helps make up the time spent reviving downed players.

Cynillus, you have to kill the Risen Acolytes that spawn near the walls of the temple. The priest will sacrifice them to heal if he gets near them. Also people should be releasing and running back if they die. If they are downed absolutely rez them, but if they're dead they should be releasing and running back. Those are the two biggest problems with the Balthazar fight.

I've only ever noticed the priest and the abomination running around so next time I'm doing Balthazar I'll make sure to look out for those acolytes.

Yeah I was screaming "USE YOUR ELITES" or something like that. Didn't even know about the acolytes and Balthazar trolled us.

Yeah, we try to open it every Sunday night during our guild karma run.

It was no big deal. Ended up getting a tell from, Chok about balth being open before I even tried this run. So I got it early in the day anyway.
The attempy itself was pretty bad. First assault on the temple failed. When everyone left the escort behind. The second attempt was much better except for anet updating the game build just before we got to the priest. Gotta love updating during NA prime time.
