Wired's Lore Sjöberg posted a tongue-in-cheek article with some thoughts on how to end an argument on the Internet.  Mildly amusing read at http://www.wired.com...ernet-arguments with the following highlight:

Lore Sjöberg said:

Anyone who says “well, ban me if you want to, but…” is actually saying “in the name of a loving God, please ban me because I am losing this argument so badly that my only hope of escaping it with a shred of dignity is if I can make myself out to be some sort of martyr to free speech.”

Good times!

[yoda]Without a start there can be no end.[/yoda]

Also... stop typing.  Yell at your monitor or go talk to someone but leave your keyboard alone.  In most cases, when you ignore the person you're arguing with they don't take it as a victory so.... yeah, stop typing. Pat yourself on the back for being able to control yourself.

Best thing to do to end an argument is to pull your pants off.  Worst case scenario they get confused and leave, best case scenario you get lucky.

Intresting points, since I generally play naked I should always win arguments. Skype anyone?
