Hi my Ehmry Bay comrades!

After that last time we had like 120+ people terrorizing Orr with minute boss kills and turned our screens into a colorful piece of abstract art, those good times are hard to be forgotten!
There has been interest for this again and I seriously think it should become tradition!

I have been speaking with GH, FTF, ASG, old friends from HIRE, (talk to me if i havent talked to you yet :P) and I'm proposing the massive zerg event for some PvE loving for:

Date: Sunday, July 7th

Time: 12PM Server (PST) / 3PM EST

Location: Meet at Fort Trinity WP cleansing through to Arah Gates
(Straits, Malchor, Cursed Shore)

(I'm suggesting such a far off date so people will be prepared for it! It usually takes around 2-3 hours to complete)

This is not map completion but it will be a massive and fun zerg that will hit up some major skill points, temples, bosses and other champions. Many events especially ones more out of the way are often not done. Not to mention, Orr has been buffed and some also scale accordingly. Patched since our last Zerg ;)Let's show Orr some love!

Everyone, every guild is invited! Please please come on out, invite your friends and join the awesomeness! It will be EPIC especially as we're expecting to have a crazy amount of people, lag or not, hope on for a ride of a lifetime

Stay tuned for more updates.

What To Do:

- Tell me if this time is good for you or not and if possible, offer your Orr know-how and tour guide services, I will put everyone's comments, concerns, suggestions into consideration

- Please Share! Tell and bring your friends, family, guild, wife, kids, pet dog, pet turtle, advertise in Tyria!

- Stay away from Orr events near the time frame of the Zerg?

- Bring Magic Find Gear, Swiftness, Karma Boosters, Commander Blue Dorito Chips, Pink Boots? Popcorn...? (Pants are optional, says GH)

- Prepare for lag, video capture if you can and turn off the lights for makeshift disco lighting effects

- View old thread in general discussion or the old event planning one for some screenies from last time

- Read my story ... LOL jk

Feel free to contact me in game Reina Takayama or Rei Rei Na, PM me here or email reina@ehmry.com

Thanks, if all is well, will be put to events calendar on ehmry.com and looking forward to seeing you all there!

Stay tuned for updates!

That would be awesome!!! Let's organize em ! :D Though weekly might be a bit much?? Haha I was thinking of regularly scheduled ones but I felt it might be too repetitive or lose its epicness or excitement if it's often, so I wanted to do once a month something like that

Zerging Orr is always fun and I'll probably be around during that time on one of my alts. Just remember that events now scale with the amount of people in an area so suddenly zerging into an event can drastically change the difficulty of the event. A gathering event that normally requires 20 items might end up requiring 200! Unless there's a cap I don't know about.

Depending on the size of the zerg, you should expect event lag for the temples that have events with countdown timers. Not sure if they fixed that though since its been a while since I last ran in a temple zerg.

Also don't know if the Champion Illusionary Gorillas that appear while fighting the Risen Priest of Lyssa with a large group, can still one shot you. It probably still does...

Anyway, have some more popcorn.

Yes yes thanks for the infoo keep the intel coming lol I'll be setting up research teams and the like and plotting + testing out paths and events in the next weeks which is also another reason I pushed the event til later.

Though still won't know til we have that many ppl lol hope it still works tho. Not sure how diff it is from our first Zerg. I noticed that some events were buffed but I ran a temple or two recently and could be done with not too many ppl needed, need to see balth sometime

Might also be a good idea to guest to other servers that do temple zergs just to get a feel for it. I know NSP usually does their temple zerg around the time when dailies reset and they always start in Cursed Shore and end with Temple of Balthazar, but to be honest, the quality in their temple zerg isn't as good as it used to be.

I recommend starting with Lyssa -> Dwayna -> Melandru ->Grenth -> Balth. Mostly cause Lyssa, Dwayna and Melandru are the easiest to do. Grenth is a little tricky if people don't know what to do and is hard with a large group. Balth is the most likely to fail so people can get frustrated and leave.

Well we're not really doing a temple clear only or using way points or moving back and forth between maps, it's a continuous run from fort trinity to Arah and hitting everything along a windy route :) but I'll be revising and improving the route we were using last time ^^

Reina, what would you suggest: should I stay up until it starts, and join the event sleepy as hell, at risk of falling asleep any time, or should I sleep early and attempt to wake up for it, with the risk of me not waking up on time and missing it?

Hmmmm

A 4 pack of Monster has never done me wrong (Apart from shaking) and is apparently equal to 36 cups of coffee.

I'd say caffeine up and power through it.
