I'd have to agree with Princess Bride, it's always good entertainment. May not fall in the same category, but Sucker Punch is a great watch for the sequences.

One of my favorites that got overlooked when it came out, Kingdom of Heaven; i thought was great. If you ignore the religious context and just enjoy the swordplay and battles. The ending even reminds me of GW2, tower filled with 50 being sieged by 100s

I am not sure the name of them but the Robin Hood Series on BBC is pretty good, and also as my friend calls it.  Scfy Movie specials. They always do some sort of fantasy stuff low end movies, and a few mockbuster movies that come out and go straight to dvd.  Those movies can go on for ever.

I felt the same way when I walked out the movie theater after seeing it the first time. My friends and I just looked at each other and were like, "WOAAAAAHHHHH"

Also Merlin is a great fantasy tv show done by the BBC.

Are you saying you didn't enjoy the live action adaptation for Sailor Moon?


And speaking of adaptations (to go off topic!), the adaptation of Hana Yori Dango was excellent. Especially since  one of the songs from the show was "Flavor of Life" by Utada Hikaru.

LOL are we really gonna talk about drama now? yeah it was awesome, there's so many favourite of mine ^^

But I'd like to keep to fantasy or else I'll go all fangirl on u and go absolutely nuts and hate myself for it cuz I can't even remember all my giant list of favs properly and you will all think im annoying :3

A Knight's Tale is pretty good too.

And the Merlin tv series. They just added season 5 to netflix.

I actually wanted to watch the Merlin series for a long time. How old/new is it?

I think netflix is about a year or so behind the seasons.

Just give it a chance though, some of the early episodes can be a bit cheesy but the overall story and everything is quite good.
