I am just wondering if we would have enough people to try and do some sort of meet up some place  and just hang out meet the people we play with and so forth.  Just a feeler to see if this is something people would not mind doing or not.  I am sure a few of us would not mind taking a break from game to hang out with good friends and enjoy some relaxing time with a cold drink.

I originally said yes, but changed it to maybe after thinking about it. Depends on where it would be, what it would be, and what I'm doing. I've gone to one of the "Meet the Devs" or w/e during Emerald City Comicon and it was awesome to hang out with fellow fans, gush about the game, talk about what we don't like, actually talk to devs, like Zadorojny and the lady who does all the living story ..stories on the gw2 site. So, I can see the appeal of everyone getting together and possibly involving some devs, but I think that, if the devs were to get involved, it would have to be in Seattle, which isn't a popular place for most people on this server

I would go to Seattle, try to catch a Seahawks v 49ers game as an excuse to go. In general I enjoy travel.

this would just be a fan meet up nothing really special  and as it stand now not tied to any sort of event or place / no anet is part / devs.    Just if we had one would you go?  do not worry about location or time frame but if all the stars and planets align just right would you go?   that way if we get enough people we can than talk about the next steps.

If it was in Seattle... I would go on the pretext to meet and greet, but then I'd excuse myself for being a total bore and go to every mom and pop coffee shop (alliteration in yo face!) I could before being thrown out of the city for having illegal amounts of caffeine in my bloodstream.
