Okay, there's definitely going to be re-runs of old fun events but I had a sudden new idea...

I remember always doing Grenth and there's always one person who is the last to die and ends up soloing Grenth and his minions for a while xD

What if we had a competition to see who can solo Grenth and stay alive the longest? We trigger the events, run it all the way til Grenth is up and running, then, everyone stays back, and each player takes turns and will be timed and recorded.

When dead, stay dead and watch the bodies collect

The first three with the longest time durations will win prizes...

Is this do-able? Is this dumb? will it be fun, interesting and will people show up for something random like this?

I like the Idea, I mean I REALLY LIKE IT! But wouldn't it make more  sense to throw everybody at Grenth and see who the last person standing is?

Sometimes in the thick of the fight, the last one standing might be just the one farthest away or something, or just in a good position, getting a lot of boons from a guardian etc, too many factors and variables to spot haha, also it would be fun to have everyone watching one person, and cheering them on, AND they'll feel a lot of pressure

I like it a lot. I don't know who that boss is... but I would give it a go!

Hehe it's a temple priest/boss / group event in Orr like Balthazar and stuff. He is arguably the hardest bc full Zerg groups can still wipe due to his mass amount of shade minions. However he on his own isn't that bad. So basically to survive you'd have to somehow stay clear of the mobs and avoid his red circles etc I will do more research about the boss mechanics when soloing it. It's basically guaranteed you'll die but how long is possibly extended... I think

This would seem kinda OP as different classes are built to survive longer. also, would it scale to the people nearby watching or people fighting?

Not sure about the scaling hahaha

yes i was thinking about that. But at the same time, the Grenth event doesn't really depend on ur class. I've seen different classes be the last one standing. Everyone can be one shot by a shade or whatever the heck one shots you. also the vortex dropping people from the ceiling, it has nothing to do with class imo. Just luck... LOL If you can somehow dodge and evade everything, or kite and stay at range then you can survive longer. I don't think you can actually tank the event
