Hi my Ehmry Bay comrades!

The server Orr-gy Choo Choo Train Zerg is back for v3.0!! You know the drill. Join the massive lag fest fun with a 130+ person army and destroy most of the Orr maps, hitting many events, temples, champions etc. Especially with the new patch where we get rewards from champs and bosses, (and less animation/effect lag) it would be great!


Date: Sunday, August 18th

Time: 1PM Server (PDT) / 4PM EDT

Location: Meet at Fort Trinity WP cleansing through to Grenth
(Straits, Malchor, Cursed Shore)

It usually takes around 2.5-3 hours to complete

Everyone, every guild is invited - this is a SERVER event! Please please come on out, invite all your friends and join the awesomeness! Hop on for a ride of a lifetime

The route maps from last run, I may change the route however. There's some fun events that we might miss or if any of the events are bugged, missing or hasn't spawned yet etc, then that is also subject to change.

My volunteers/commanders please do study these and keep in mind what we're doing.

Even with this advanced knowledge, please still stay with the group and behind the driver commander

What To Do:

- Please Share! Tell and bring your friends, family, guild, wife, kids, pet dog, pet turtle, advertise in Tyria!

- Stay away from Orr events on the day of the zerg?

- Bring Magic Find Gear, Swiftness, Karma Boosters, Commander Blue Dorito Chips or Tacos, Pink Boots? Popcorn...? (Pants are optional )

- Prepare for lag, video capture and screenshot if you can and turn off the lights for makeshift disco lighting effects

- Looking for volunteers and commanders.

It's actually fun regardless cuz you get to see things die in seconds and less laggy than anything in WvW, because we still have less people than wvw maps with three servers on it. I have a really laggy computer and bad graphics, I never lagged like I do in wvw. As well, the new update will have the effect detail filter stuff that reduces animation and particle effects when there's a lot of people. So we'll get to test that out. So it will not be 10 fps but maybe 15 fps

why does this have to be 4am west Australian time. gahhhhh. Maybe I can catch the end of it. I'll see if I can be there for at-least the last part lol. this sounds awesome

Time difference sucks it would be better at night but guilds run events at night times haha

If the same thing happens at Grenth like the last event, we'll be doing our own version of https://www.ehmrybay...t-one-standing/

The time difference does sort of suck for the Aussies though. The only time I've found that works for most people is in the mornings server time. An 8am (UTC-7) server time start would be 11am EDT (UTC-4), 5pm Central German Time (UTC+2) and 11pm West Australia time (UTC+8). But good luck getting west coast people to do an event at 8am! Not a problem for me since I wake at 7am on weekends anyway.

Actually you know, it'd be smart to combine the two events.. Like have a competition to see who can solo the longest before we all just WP back and do it officially LOL
