The theme for this competition is: Fall of Ascalon

Greetings artists and writers alike! Welcome to the Oct/Nov Fandom competition! Bring out your creative side and show us what you've got!


General Rules

• Post your themed artwork or fanfic in this thread.
  
• All members of Ehmry.com are eligible.
  
• One entry per category per member
  
• Your fanfic must be between 2,000 and 5,000 words
  
• Your fanart may use any medium
  
• Cosplays may be entered into this contest under the fanart category
  
• Entries must be submitted by November 21st 11:59pm PDT

Points

• 5 possible points creativity and originality
  
• 10 possible points for quality of composition
  
• 5 possible points for Interpretation and clarity of theme
  
• 10 possible points for number of community 'likes'. (if you get 1 like, you get 1 point. 10 likes = 10points but no more than 10 points even if you have more likes)
  
• Tiebreakers will be decided by community vote over a 24 hour period.

Prizes

• 1st place - 25g fanfic  / 25g fanart
  
• 2nd place - 10g fanfic / 10g fanart
  
• 3rd place -  5g fanfic / 5g fanart
  
• Runner's Up - 1g fanfic / 1g fanart

Eek! Between 500-1000 words? My one-shots are usually 2000-5000 words, but I'll try xD Will definitely submit a fic, though.

I think you make a good point. With the contest almost two months I think longer word count is probably a good idea. Will change to 2k-5k as that seems as good a number as any.

For forum etiquette I would advise you keep it to a decent viewing size for the forums but you may link to any higher resolution and sizes on another site like deviantart.
