I recall this from another forum.  The basic premise is that you make a wish and the next person grants it with a caveat that completely negates the benefit of the wish.

For example, I would post "I wish I'd get a new car" and a potential reply to this would be "granted, but your driver's license is permanently revoked".  Be creative with your replies.

Alright, I'll start:

I wish I had a billion dollars.

Granted, but you must spend it all at once.....on bread. Does that corrupt it enough or do you think you could eat a billion dollars of bread?

As for your wish, granted! however the check comes in bi-weekly and is only for 1 cent...
