They allowed a lot of back-doors to make up for the amount of bugs on this story part. I was able to complete it today but didn't do half of the quests. The lack of the working quests made this feel like a lot of dialogue and not much else. However, I wasn't in the mood for much so it all worked out.

Anybody else feel like that back-piece is going to be more work than it seems?

The foxfire clusters, of which you need 48, are a bit easier to get if you spring for the laurel axe, find a guild banner, and run a gathering booster, I got 5 in 22 minutes tonight.  But others are reporting better rates.  I think I've farmed about 650 elderwood and received 10 foxfire clusters in total.  This seems like the hardest part.  And it seems extreme for an exotic back piece, but I want the purple flower thingie for my purple thief.  If it wasn't purple and didn't match any of my characters, I don't think I'd bother.

Getting all the recipes and clay was a bit of a problem but we are getting to tier 4 easily now.  I don't farm these events enough, I still don't have all the cooking recipes, I've bought one so far.  And I need 400 for one of the amber weapons, I already have the bug in amber, I just can't decide which one I want as they don't really fit with any characters I have.  I'm quickly getting overwhelmed when it comes to farming, but hopefully I still have lots of time to gather everything for the other stuff.

Tree farming is a bit more tolerable if you combine it with map exploration on an alt.Tagging points gives you a reason to be running back and forth to find new nodes. They need to explore Orr anyway for personal story. The rest of the crafting is pretty simple. I like the special items that need to be "powered up" at certain locations, it made it a little more interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how the piece evolves over the course of the season.
