Announcing the September 2014 Feature Pack...

I for one welcome our new trading post. While I love the convenience of the "anywhere, anytime" trading post, using it in its current form can be a PITA. If ANet gets it right, this could be a really substantial improvement.

Edit: Aaaaand they didn't get it right. FFS, it takes twice as long to sell stuff now.

I look forward to checking it out. I really like the profession search parameter, I disliked having to use the tool-tip box to find the correct weight of armor I was looking for in the list. Anyone catch the live stream today? It looks pretty easy to use, and easy to update on their end.

My favorite points from the patch notes:
  • Minimum buy and sell prices are now vendor value + 15%.
  • Unlocked miniatures can be equipped per character and are now summoned automatically on every map entry.
  • Sic ’Em:
    • Increased the duration of revealed from 4 seconds to 6 seconds.
  • Ricochet:
    • This skill now grants 3 seconds of might on hit.
  • Dungeon instances no longer close when the original creator leaves the party.
Also, this will have some pretty serious implications:
  • Area-of-effect revive skills no longer revive NPCs from dead.
Bannering dead lords is dead.

Players no longer get stuck in siege weapons for a few seconds after building them.

Commencing happy dance in 3... 2...1...
