Hey everybody!

My name is oRx and I have just today decided to join the ranks of Ehmry Bay. I am an active European player with great desire for WvW.

The reason I joined Ehmry Bay is that the people of the server have showed me very much kindness on the official GW2 forums, where I was searching for a guild. I now represent Woes and fly the banners of the Bay.

I am somewhat new to GW2, so I will first need to learn the game mechanics well, but once I achieve that, I believe I can help The Bay control the WvW battlefields during the European prime-time and help to keep the battleground ready and running for the U.S team, so they do not have to flip every single objective all over again.

The one reason I came to GW2 is PvP. That is my love. Ofcourse, that includes WvW, which is a type of PvP aswell, so I will be rolling around the WvW maps for most of my playtime.

I think I will roll an elementalist as my main, but I am not 100% sure yet, so don't take this for granted.

Anyhow, I'm very glad to be on your side now! A big thanks to Woes for accepting me in their guild and giving me a home, all the people who messaged me on the official GW2 forums with a notice that I should join Ehmry and the rest of the Ehmry Bay community for being splendid.

I hope to meet as many of you as possible in the shortest time possible, and I hope to be able to help make Ehmry Bay a better place for it's residents, and a worse place for it's WvW matchups. >

Sanji, Woes is pretty much 100% rep now while in WvW.

Anyways! WELCOME oRx. I did see you on the official forums, I was going to post on there originally, but Rimmy had beat me to it. Seriously, glad you chose us. We are glad to have you! What is your IGN, that way if we see you in game we can say Hi!

That being said, we probably wont run together much as I am a roamer most of the, havocer a bit of the time, and run with large groups usually only on Friday and Saturday (Reset Night Raids FTW). I know you stated you will be looking for more intense fights, so EBG will probably be your place. (I personally stick to Borderlands).

ALSO, I know you don't like TS, or at least said you don't like to talk in TS, but I do encourage you to at least get on an listen. Sometimes we talk about random crap (that's half the fun of ebay), but I think it is an important tool for communication if you are actively trying to defend or attack. That being said, no pressure. But having fun with friends & joking on TS is the reason I'll never leave EBay.

True but am up at some crazy hours sometimes...every guild even the big ones have dead zones. Anyways its up to him and in part Woesinger but am not worried there...when they are on...whom wouldn't want to rep and roam with them:)

Thanks alot for the pleasant welcomes guys!   Anyhow Sanji, no offense to you or your guild, but I think I prefer to have one guild, and represent that one at all times, because it does create a bond of some sort after all, and is also a sign of loyalty imo. Id be happy to have you (all of you) as one of my friends though!

And Aduah, dont worry, Ill probably be on TS all the time, I just dont like to talk much

And about intense battles, I just want to have somebody to fight, the size of zergs doesnt matter... Id probably even prefer roaming, so Im sure we'll see each other! ;D

Dont be shy to WvW on your present server...even if you goof off and they get mad...you arent gonna stay there long since you decided here was your new pad..your new hommy. Besides WvW isnt Eotm tho similar in many aspects...if you WvW youll be able to ask more questions right away to our WvW Ebayers.

Besides the faster you get into WvW the more confident youll get into its livingness. If you are gonna go on that Ele level 2:) be prepared to loose alot of 1vs1 fights until your gear him up and all that...it can be ruff...I know my first month in WvW with an uplevel warrior wasnt all that fun...got picked on for my low rank and for being an uplevel...but like you heard from us today since you were in our party...you can use it as bait...like Fay did with that Dui thief that came out for him and that got death from us instead of dealing death P.S.: a rightly built ele can be tanky and dish out good dps so its a good choice not to mentionn Flashy:)

Eotm isnt WvW...most WvWers will say Eotm is the blob play ground...great for leveling if you have a gd grp and no zerg busting guilds as ennemies....getting herded like sheep and dying horribly by bad commanders and mouthy trolls aplenty but i guess 1vs1 fights there can be more evenly matched since alot go with alternates even if they do bring 80s.

I guess you are right you do learn were to get supply, that rams dont work on walls:) (weve all seen that in there), what is better to use in diff. situations, when to push in to cap when to just fight to the death, when to run and hide, etc.

I like to small grp roam in Eotm also because its hard to cap things when either blobs can show up at any given time.

Thanks alot for this post Sanji, its very informative and encouraging!   I might aswell go and roll some Blacktide WvW then, to get into it abit... Youre right, theyre not my server anyways (not for long) so I shouldnt be too much concerned with what they think about me. We all have to learn once I guess.

And thank you for the chat aswell, was great to see you and Fay in action!
