I signed up, though I'm not expecting much—the only time I actually got into a closed beta was for The Secret World. The RNG gods are still chuckling about that one.

I got into the ESO beta, but other than that the only other closed Betas I have ever been in (I think) were Betas that my Brother's were chosen for in the late 90's. UO, Everquest, Asheron's Call. Back then they sent you the disks for beta, since you couldn't easily download it.

No, according to the link people have no reporting restrictions, and that includes screenshots and video.

I don't know the limitations of what the beta will be, but I have a feeling it will be hard to get a grasp on the full map idea with only beta players. They will have a spotlight @ Rezzed for purely the WvW map, and I assume this will be replayable on Twitch for people that can't make their timezone. Like others have said, it's an NDA-free closed beta and will grow larger into an open-beta as they keep allowing more server stress.

Got an invite as well, which is cool. Sounds like it's going to be humans only, which is not so cool. I haven't played a human in probably 2+ years.

Some1 in DTOP did it yesterday and they give you a special character slot. You can't mail or talk in guild chat while they were there. They weren't allowed tos ay theywere in till it went live. Thiers was only an hour long though.

Same for me Ill be doing both 2 hrs sessions probably human revenant since only one race...slip my time with 15min at beginning to play with the traits and skills of the revenant then slip my time equally between WvW and pve if both are offered...and do15 min of pvp if offered for those that like pvp to have som inseeight for yous as well.

Silvers hopefully we can grp up...maybe Woes and Fair Winds....would join our grp...we can test small revenant grp potential and such as well.

Maybe a TS chat with others when the 4hrs of testing over.
