Hey there everyone! You may have seen a version of this post on the GW2 forum. I didn't even know there was an Ehmry Bay forum at the time. However, since there is, it seems like a good idea to be posting here. So, long story short, a friend and I are looking for a Guild to join. We’re release day players who never gave the game a fair shake (our playgroup quit), but we have finally returned. We are currently gearing, PvX oriented, and we have the same active times and preferrences. Our primary experience has been in WvW, EotM, and world bosses, with little to no experience in dungeons and Fractals. We intend to do those activities, but we haven’t gotten around to it yet, with so much else to do in the game.

We’ve returned to GW2 after a long hiatus, and are looking for an active Guild of reasonable size. We definitely prefer tight-knit groups, and voice chat is a must. With HoT around the corner, and the fun we've had in the last two weeks, we’re in for the long haul, so expect us to become a permanent part of the group. As former players of a couple other MMOs in ages past, we prefer to find one Guild that clicks, and stay with them, rather than taking the first opening possible and bouncing through multiple groups. Sure, the GW2 system allows for multiple Guilds, but we'd like to find a focused and dedicated bunch. So, if your Guild fits the bill, please let us know. I'm not sure if the guild I'm in (EBAY) is the right timezone for you, but there are plenty other guilds who I'm sure would be happy to have you.  If you're not already familiar with it, hop onto our TS server (ts2.ehmry.com) and you might be able to chat with some of them directly.

You are welcome to join KOoK.  I'd love to have you. Honestly my guild is very small at the moment, despite having been around since launch. We have 21 members but only about half are active, and only half of that (4-5 members) rep the guild on a consistant basis. We play all content (Though I spend most of my time in WvW or sPvP), and are attempting to grow. Unfortunately due to our small size we do not guild missions. Other wise my active members come in different time zones. a few of us are east coast, and a few of us are west coast.

All of my active members do have teamspeak and are willing to get on TS. You are welcome to join Ehmry's TS as Grav said, ts2.ehmry.com You will just need a guild leader to verify you., Which shouldn't be difficult, any guild leader/admin has permissions to do so, and they have a tag that denotes they are a leader. Just poke one.

Oh my gosh, I didn't preview this post, so I had no clue the font was set to be so small. It's fixed now. Sorry about that!

My friend and I are still looking over options and talking to guilds, so there's still plenty of time to post here and be fully considered. I know [RAID] hasn't posted here, but they did contact me in game thanks to some talk in /m channel. They're on the consideration list as well.

Hi Craven! Welcome to the forums    I know looking for a guild can be a task, and at times a little overwhelming.  We have a lot of great guilds on our server, imo. For me, a good way of knowing who you're going to gel with the best, is just running with different guilds in WvW (since that's the only place you can get strictly Ehmry guilds).

Another way, is joining everyone on the Ehmry Bay Teamspeak!  You should have no problem getting the information from anyone in the WvW maps. And it's a perfect way to connect with your fellow Ehmryians.


Edit: I totally just linked the forum that you posted in. Wow. *Sometimes is half asleep when I log on here* But all that aside, I hope you guys find a guild that you can call home.

If you are interested in joining into a primarily wvw guild, Prae is recruiting, got a few requirements but nothing too terrible. We raid every day but Sunday and start at about 9 pm est. During the day pre-raid we do pvp and a bit of pve. Send a mail to Achilles.8619 if you are interested in more info.

All the guilds mentioned above are worth checking out. It is also not an exhaustive list. Personally, I can't think of a guild on Ehmry that I don't like.

My best suggestion would be to go to WvW, and see which players/guilds are doing the kinds of things you enjoy at the times you play the most... then jump into TS with them and see if there is a natural chemistry.

Note that some guilds have raids or "super serious" time. This is probably not the best time to pop in for a chat. This does not mean that they are not open to new members. They are just busy.

There are some that are more causal than others, but they are all pretty nice.
