Am trying to find out if all the abilities aoe is considered guard symbols now since its like a mark you drop? am talking like purging flame now thats aoe based and all that.
If it does am gonna see into a burning, symbol combo...only draw back if above is true mind you, is it would be twice more efficient with fire traited eles...3 guards with burn and symbols.
Fiery Wrath Adept II
Increases 10% damage against burning foes
Symbolic Avenger GM IX
You deal 20% more damage to enemies standing in your symbols
Writ of Persistence GM VIII
Symbols last longer, are larger, and heal allies.
Anyways, our expert gurus pls let me know tks.
Am depressed and been playing alot more witcher since 8 builds to refix..sigh gl to yous with 10++++.

Symbol is a specific skill category like Cantrip or Physical or whatever. Only things explicitly labelled as Symbols count as Symbols. Staff 3, Greatsword 4, the third skill in the auto attack chain on Hammer, and Mace 2 are pretty much it.

I'm not sure about the Sceptre sigils yet, and I'm still half-considering dropping Pack runes for Vampirism, but THIS is one of my favourite builds I've come up with across all classes so far. Deceptively tanky with excellent short-term party support while maintaining quite a lot of damage. The synergy between Smiter's Boon, Monk's Focus, and Litany of Wrath is just crazy. In a team fight, it's basically a guaranteed full heal that also does damage and gives you 8s of Fury... what more could a person ask for?

am thinking of going into a burn, condi removal build + symbols in the end.
Tho I need a new set of armor since my nomad/shout build doesn't seem to be a gd now:(
