If you missed this last month, I'll refer you here for the back story. We'll start up in earnest at 10 PM EST again, and probably gain momentum as the night rolls along. Anyone and everyone is welcome to hang out with us, but we especially encourage the roamers and havoc squads to join in.

How about we roll true Voltron style this time (as proposed by Biff)? Run in small groups (full party max?) and blob up if the situation calls for it. I'd like to make the groups at least somewhat mixed if possible. TS turnout last time was great, let's make that happen again.

The golem event kicks off on Friday. Not sure at what rate we'll be going through them, so bring any blue prints you don't mind sparing (I'll have a bunch).

What kind of golfing? Are you on a team or just play for recreation?

Recreational now tho I have junior trophies from passed club annual division tournament and winning interclub grp ages.
Participated in junior golf Quebec and interclub golf A division where its a 4 player skins match between 4 clubs...with 8-10 players in each club taking part.

2 years ago I played 90-100 games I was on the golf course practicing each night and weekends was 36 holes of golf, sometimes on 3 days off would be a marathon of 36-36-36 holes.

Nowadays, I rarely practice unless playing really bad and content with playing in the 80s.
Lowest handicap rated was probably around 4-6...thus mid 70s to low 80s constantly.

I guess am still passionate about it to spew so much useless info...but prefer not rushing to practice after work for gw2 instead.

Well Black, I'll come if you accept me into your little party. My sleeping schedule has just about cycled around, so I'm not sure how late I'll be able to stay awake. I'm cycled now to the wake up at 6am. so by Saturday I might be able to manage to stay up late enough to participate.

Assuming I'm awake, I'll most likely be there. Not sure how things will go with Golem Insanity, but regardless, It would be cool to see if we can semi-coordinate our individual groups' efforts.

Omg this thread is making me sad. Between the conversation about golf and then possibly not being awake at 10 PM on a Saturday, I feel like I've stumbled into a retirement home. You both know you'll be happier piddling your time away running around in a suit of armor that shoots rockets than sleeping. Get some caffeine and stop having lives pls. Thx.

P.S. Fraani, you know you're always invited. We don't even mind if you bring Lucent along, provided you clean up after him.

Tell my boss to stop being a butt and to pay me more so I don't have to work a second job on Saturdays, and then I can Voltron all day and night. Also, I am sadly immune to caffeine's energizing effects.

On caffeine, do you consume some everyday and you're just used to it or it's just never had any effect? Either way, I know a guy who has some stuff that might help you. Be warned, though - you'll come down hard after.

I have to put Lucent to bed by a certain time, otherwise he starts to get cranky and thinks everything you say is rude. :/

You can use whatever word(s) you like. Fire for effect, and don't take no for an answer.

I don't recall caffeine ever having any noticeable effect for me. That being said, I've been a chocoholic/iced tea junkie for years, so it's possible I got used to it long before I discovered coffee.

Me too! Although I've found it can make me ravenously hungry at times - it always baffled me in my early twenties how people could just "have coffee".

Sugar and stubbornness gets me through.

I think that is why I sleep so well while drinking coffee.  It helps stave off migraines and a few other things, but Apple juice is better for staying awake.  I am up to about 12-20 migraines a month at the moment, so if I'm not around that is the most likely culprit.
