Collectors of Souls (C O S [CoS] ) is now recruiting!

We’re a PvP based guild who's been around since 1996 in Ultima Online and have been in numerous other MMO’s along the way. We’re a mature and casual guild who loves to joke around. Coming from a PvP background, we highly enjoy forming small assault groups in the battlegrounds and assisting where ever needed. We also have a group of players that are always looking to run dungeons. Need help in game or looking for answers?? Our guys are always there to assist.

We’re currently looking for highly active players who not only loves demolishing in PvP, but who also enjoys the PvE aspects of the game (like mastering all of the Explorer Modes in the dungeons).

We're currently maxed on Art of War and are sitting at Rank 4 for all of the others. And no, you don't have to represent us all the time, however, we do ask that you do so during WvW excursions (and of course other misc. times cause how else would you know whats going on in guild )

Guidelines:

• Must not be easily offended
  
• Ability to join Vent for WvW, Dungeons, and of course the overall desire to join just so you can chit chat with us (plus, its a great way to get to know your fellow guildies )
  
• Must be mature and respectful (this is a given)

We're looking to fill a couple of 10 man assault groups for WvW along with 2 solid 5 man tournament groups for the upcoming changes in sPvP.

We're also looking for players who want to master all of the explorer modes for dungeons.

I've actually got a Warrior, Ele (which I'm still working on maxing), and 400 Armorsmith, Artificer, Jewelry, and Weaponsmith as far as your special wants go. I only really enjoy the WvW aspect of PvP though. Primarily I PvE.

You say a functional mic is required and that I need to "follow directions"...why and how so, respectively? I saw you mention your guild in another thread and though I would ask a few questions.

Anywho, when it comes to my recruitment post, I wanted to clean it up. As it is with our guild, you don't HAVE to have a working mic (Ravengyre doesn't and will still love him ), we just do a lot of our chitter chatter in vent, so at least coming in and joining us from time to time or even all the time is strongly suggested. We're a pretty open group and we enjoy talking, can't help it

For the whole "follow directions" bit, basically its like this, don't be like Jinks lol  Nah, but seriously, one of my biggest pet peaves is giving our guild name a bad rep or disrespecting other members. I'm not a big fan of it and neither is Kaaos. When I say "follow directions," what I'm really saying is don't be an ass and don't get out of hand. If I get a complaint or I feel you need to calm down and I say something to you, then please adhere to it. It's just basically your typical please be mature and respectful thing.

Oh and yea, Jinks is right on the whole Dungeons and WvW thing by the way when it comes to vent. It just helps on the overall communication and knowing whats going on thing. But, as most people who don't have a mic or just don't like to talk in vent will agree, you don't have to talk to listen

On and side note, when I created my recruitment post, I was coming from Rift Raiding, so keep that in mind cause I'm sure it'll make more sense that way.  Which is the reason why I need to fix it

We're looking to fill about 5 more spots to round out our WvW groups. Right now we've got 2 - 3 solid groups of some highly talented and dedicated members and we're looking for some more!

In addition to our recruitment efforts, CoS is now looking to partner up with another small to mid sized guild for WvW resets.

What we're looking for is a guild who desires more than just going out on a map and following a zerg or taking random supply camps when they can. We're looking to share our knowledge and resources in WvW with another guild who wants to make more of an impact without having to grow in membership size.

We're already working closely with some of the more prominent guilds on our server (i.e. joining TS with them, coordinating tatics, etc) and hoping to bring in some of the smaller guilds as well.

When it comes to Representing, we are leaving it up to you. We are not, nor will we ever, ask that the guild who joins us to represent us as well. We understand the importance of a guilds independance and have no desire to take it away. We're looking for a guild who will join us in our Vent for Friday reset's and possilbly Saturday nights as well to coordinate with (i.e. making coordinated assault groups in a combined effort or even working together in a large assault group).
