Figured this post was due for a pretty major update. What EB is and wants to achieve has changed quite a bit since we've established, so a new intro seems necessary. So, hello again Ehmry Baes! I'm Maxx and I'm one of the leaders and the driver of EB. I'd like what EB is, who we are, and what we do to be well represented to anyone who may be interested in joining us, so let's do it!.
EB is an almost solely WvW/fights guild that was originally established as a branch of the guild CoT, operating as our GvG/more private sect. Though our roster is still heavily comprised of CoT members, we have grown quite a bit since then both in the sense of members and in the sense of what we want to be. Through our experiences together, we have improved drastically on both an individual and group basis. Witnessing our progress has only made us want to take our strive towards getting better farther and farther. Through being a friendly group willing to discuss ideas and exchange constructive criticism, we hope to continue improving how we play, without forgetting to have fun while we do it!
If it wasn't obvious, we take wanting to get better pretty seriously. This means we expect guildies to not be put off by mistakes they make during a fight, but instead learn from it and do better next time. We do not tolerate toxicity or dickedry in any way either. Though we still have a long way to go, having a dedicated group of people all striving towards the same goal is an amazing feeling. However, please don't interpret this as us being super hardcore or abrasive. We're just a bunch of friends dinking around who happen to like winning fights.
That's a lot, I know. But, I wanted what we are as a guild to be well explained. As for some basic info about us, we hold WvW raids every night of the week(unless something comes up), save sunday, at 9pm EST. We also GvG whenever we have one scheduled. We usually run around 11 to 15(our optimal number) deep, but can push 20 on a good night. We like to keep a fairly small roster, making for a tighter sense of community. We do not have a rep policy, but we do ask that you join us for at least two raids a week. Using Teamspeak is a requirement seeing as it is our sole method of verbal communication, a component that is paramount to group coordination.
Think that about sums it up, friends. If you're looking to make some awesome friends while improving as both a player and a group, then consider EB as your potential home.
