Yes you get vigor and we are taking Adrenal Implant, no it's not a wasted trait. With only shield block you will want the dodges. The vigor is just a byproduct of the minor traits, it will not be up constantly.
If you have it, use boon duration food, it is very expensive.
My build was out first before that Wolfineer copied it. ( Great minds think alike. however his build uses elixir gun which I do not recommend. )
