Ehmry Bay Teamspeak: ts2.ehmry.com

Here you can find a list of guidelines to help you understand your Ehmry Bay Teamspeak Server better.

1. EDITING THE GUIDELINES

None of the following is written in stone and can be revised under action by a group within our community. None of these guidelines can be changed without the presence of a meeting consisting of at least several members, one registered leader and one administrator. All revisions need to passed along to Lexxguard/Moxie Java for updating purposes only. If two or more groups have a conflicting guideline or guidelines a summit of admins and leaders will be held to settle the issue.

2. ADMINISTRATION POSITION

In order for a registered Teamspeak member to be moved up to an admin they must volunteer for it and have no less then three people recommending him/her for the position. Once that has taken place the potential admin can be brought before a minimum of four admins for finalization and orientation.

3. HACK AND BAN POLICY

Hacking is discouraged in our community and can result in action being taken in that persons guild, forum, or Teamspeak.

3a. Acceptable forms of Proof that a player is hacking.

These forms of proof are acceptable:

A Screenshot (As of 5/9/15 requires a Time Stamp)
Video (As of 5/9/15 requires a Time Stamp)
Multiple Witnesses

Sufficient and diverse proof is required before action can be taken.

3b. Contact a leader or an officer in the persons guild.

Please approach the player and guild leader or officer politely and explain the situation along with your provided proof. Refer them if needed to this Teamspeak Guide and Policy. You can also notify a Teamspeak admin if you cannot contact a guild member.

3c. If no fruit comes of the previous step ie. the guild leader doesnt do anything or the player does not stop hacking please approach a Forum admin and Teamspeak admin concerning the issue. A meeting on Teamspeak (multiple times for Time Zones purposes) and a Forum Discussion will be held to decide further action. If it is conclusively determined that a player has knowingly violated Ehmry Bay's prohibition on hacking/exploiting, a permanent ban from Teamspeak will result.

Other actions could be taken in the forums as well as in any guilds.

4. INACTIVE GUILDS

Guilds which are inactive for a month or longer can potentially be removed for maintenance purposes and to reduce clutter on Teamspeak.

If your guild has a Green Checkmark next to their guild channel it means your guild is active for the current month and will not be removed. Green Checkmarks can be handed out by an Admin or a Guild Leader when they see a member of that guild on Teamspeak.

If, by the third week in the current month, a guild channel does not have a Green Checkmark a Red Exclaimation Mark will be added to that Guild Channel to let the guild know they are close to being removed. Please contact your guild leader or an admin to have it removed.

On the final day of the month any Guild Channels with a Red Exclaimation Mark will be removed along with all the appropriate guild tags.

5. BANNING POLICY

All future bans from 8/2/15 will need to adhere to the following policy for improved record keeping. Failure to follow this rule will have the ban lifted and force the person banning to reapply the ban correctly.

When banning a user please fill out the reason box, do not leave it blank. Please provide the name of the person being banned as well as your name and a full description of why they are being banned.
