Hey everyone,

Since the Alpine Borderlands will be going away the morning of Thursday, the 22nd, does anyone want to have a party in home BL Wednesday night to give it a proper send-off?

Yeah sounds like fun! Lots of good memories in this borderland, even if it gets stale sometimes. Here's hoping they revamp it in the future and bring it back into rotation!

I still don't actually like the Alpine BL map, but I suspect I'm going to miss it all the same. I'll have to stop in and say goodbye for now. (I suspect Anet will eventually bring it back in some way, shape, or form...unless it joins SAB in the box of mothballs.)

I'm still kicking myself for not really playing a lot of SAB when it was out cause I had the mentality "Oh this is gonna be around whenever I want so no need to rush it!" ;(

In honor of it going, I finally went to solo cap a few enemy camps for the first time and killed an enemy warrior as a glass staff. Farewell, alpine bl.

Probably.

Due to some real-life stuff I won't be able to make it until about 9pm PDT, but feel free to party without me.  I'm terrible at organizing parties anyway, so if someone else wants to kick off the festivities, go for it!
