But if we didn't have Thanksgiving in November it would unbalance the space-time-christmas-continuum. There would be no line to draw in the sand that says "Christmas starts here!" I mean, it encroaches enough already. If we took away the last line of defense we'd have to listen to christmas music for two months instead of just one and a quarter.

Remembrance Day is that line. Or Veteran's Day for you guys.
Although let's face it - there's Christmas stuff up popping up in September, thanks to the more sadistic retailers.
And while I might find many things in life stupid, the only thing I really hate is Christmas music. It puts me in mind of a mass culling...
