Would it be feasible to create a TeamSpeak tag (group) for members of the server that we get linked with tomorrow? Ideally, this tag would let them move around like the server-wide Ehmry Bay tag does now, but would keep them separated.
For example, if we do get linked with NSP, there would be a "Northern Shiverpeaks Server" group, possibly with an "[NSP]" prefix, which would give permissions to move to all non-protected channels.
I don't think there's any reason to make guild tags for any of their guilds (I'm sure they'll all use their own TeamSpeak), but having some way to label them and allow them access would be beneficial.

I could see this being useful, in case some of them are running around with one of our groups and want access to the comms. Especially if this pairing lasts awhile.

Precisely what I was thinking about after hearing of the server linking.
I feel like it'd be interesting to look into tag mechanics (with an experienced TS admin that knows how to set it up) and see if it's possible to temporarily alter tag permissions for certain clients - we could change channel joining powers tag-wide each week that we get paired with a particular server - this way we could effectively communicate with them but shut them out on weeks we may not be paired with them.

It may be better to just purge those tags if the "Server Link" changes, though, rather than to preserve them. With a minimum 12-week cycle, a lot can change with the composition of servers in that amount of time. It should be possible to set up a "HoD Leader" position or whatever that is able to hand out "HoD Server" tags, but unable to modify any of the existing Ehmry architecture. That'd enable us to distribute that HoD Leader tag without having to be overly cautious about it, so people from a newly linked server who want access will have a relatively easy time getting it.
It'd also be possible to set up a separate guild section for our partnered server if there's a desire for that.
I'm not on GW2 much these days, but I'm in the T.S. most days, and I've been doing a lot of the behind-the-scenes maintenance lately. If you let me know what you want done, I can probably make it happen.
