SERVER STRIKE!

Maybe I should post, because this forum sure as Borlis will never, ever surrender needs some activity. (cue obligatory curses against the ancient enemy) eBay may be the lowest subhuman monkey species and human rights criminals guilty of genocide and poor taste in dress... but for that reason I can't believe I'm about to say what I'm going to say.

I am thinking of getting some sort of alliance of all the slave servers together to overthrow the tyrannical reign of the upper tiers. The idea is, there's one power we have that the high-tier servers are vulnerable to: a strike. To some extent the slave owners depend on their slave soldiers to hold the line. If just one of the slave servers went on strike each week, agreeing temporarily to complete unfinished business in PvE, then whichever slavemaster server the strike is targeting will suddenly become extremely vulnerable to implosion when the other slave servers focus it, and the other two masters move in for the kill.

So, Ehmry. Do you want to join the Borlis Pass Council in launching a world revolution? I don't know how well a functioning Ehmry Bay server government that has organizing authority among your masses has survived past world linking, but whatever weight you can pull, get in contact with the other slave servers if you're interested.

What do you say? Shall we level the WvW population to equality and receive needed transfers from the implosions of bloated enemy servers?

Kaineng is most likely to be interested, and they're the first contact I'd recommend.

Well, I guess you do what you can in these harsh times. Servers having identity and purpose is something I miss, a revived Ehmry would probably strengthen Borlis.

On our own forums, we were just going over the effects of burnout on server communities. The WvW forums all probably died off because burned-out people are not good at being social.

Ah, my counterpart, you made me laugh (in a good way) when you said that. What did I do to deserve such credit?

Seriously, though, I think bigger forces were at play than any I could call upon. I am looking forward to fighting the resurrected Ehmry Bay alliance proudly bearing my Veteran of Borlis Pass title (or something like that). Hopefully we can even destroy Anvil Rock together for old times' sake!

But yea, oh god, they've probably been working on this for years.  The idea was thrown around in response to "how do we fix WvW?" sometime before Heart of Thorns, and I'm sure it's been "in committee" ever since.  I'm excited that they're finally talking about it, but it's probably still further off than I care to think about.

I am also looking forward to facing you and your resurrected horde on the field of battle!

And oh my god I want "Ehmry Bay" in my character title xD.
