I'm 400 Armorsmith, 400 Artificer, 400 Chef, and 400 Jeweler.

I plan on maxing out all tradeskills eventually, but those are the four I have at the time being.

It's not too terrible, I think sometime this week will end up being the end of the first month I've played the game. For me it was simply getting it stuck in my head I wanted it and it got done. Taking advantage of the Lv. 400 gear without buying Ecto's and what not? Entirely different story

It's not as bad as you think!

As I leveled up, I saved every crafting material I came across because I knew that I wanted the achievement that comes with maxing out all eight tradeskills on a single character.  I haven't maxed out the other four yet due to a lack of fine crafting materials, but the price seems to be lowering by the day so I hope to finish the achievement off soon!

I'm honestly surprised that the majority isn't chef as I have heard it's easiest to level to 400 and the food provides some pretty nice bonuses

Actually I think it's the hardest! Im a lvl 250 chef.  Can't salvage, many ingredients are acct bound, cant sell the food except on the TP but no one wants the low level food

Honestly, I found Jewelcrafting to be the easiest up until 380ish. After that, it looks like the only craft that actually need ecto's pre-400. I still find cooking a hell of a lot easier than Armorcrafting and Weaponsmithing just because of the difference in pre-requisite components, but so far from my experience JC es #1

I do think Cooking is the most fun, though. I'm tempted to dive back into it once I get more disposable income.

Hey, don't let that stop you, it's still impressive. And having it all on one character would be fairly convenient too.

I'll still go for it - but I'm much less motivated than before.

Having to pay 13.5s every time I switch tradeskills at 400 is kind of a pain.

okay i was super confused haha. I was like..wait haven't i read all of this before??

I'm getting close to maxing Jewelcrafting, but the recipes get sort of spendy as I get closer and closer to 400. I think the next one I'll get to 400 is probably huntsman or armorcrafting...both are at about the same material level.

All on the same character?  Even if not then that's still pretty hardcore, a whole bunch of gold spend on those skills.

Not all on the same character but a few of the professions I got to 400 on multiple characters. Crafting EXP is just tooooo good. :]

This, absolutely. You can't argue that 20 levels for a handful of gold and an hour or two of your time (if you're smart about it) isn't worth two crafting disciplines to 400. Plus, as a bonus to that, now you have two level 400 crafting disciplines.

When I started My ranger I sent some monies over to it as well as crafting boosts I had acquired over the course of my 80 toon. Within 2.5 hours I was able to obtain 400 Leather and Jewel crafting. It's quite simple and gave my ranger 20 levels in the process.

I leveled my ele to 49 with three crafting professions and some story missions.
Spent quite a bit of gold getting to lvl 400 Tailor and Weaponsmith and not as much gold to get 400 artificing. Now I have two 400 artificers....sigh.
