What you fools running?

Doing the whole backstab myself with utility skills....working wonders.

Nothing better than rolfstomping in the middle of 50 enemies.

At least 15 in trickery is imperative IMO for the extra initiative

How dependable are your fellas backstabs?

25 deadly for me

I mostly run PvE so that build is pretty balanced, used mostly to spam death blossom and stealing
I would probably switch out signet of shadows for assassin's signet and use that before a backstab... I've seen some WvW builds set up that way.  Get 150% damage with that.

Either way builds using the assassin signet in WvW were overkill. Mobility >>>>> super big BS numbers IMHO.

My backstabs crit really high still ~ maybe around 4k-10k on 80's depending on the player's build and class.

Anyways, backstab builds are about to get nerfed again. Proof that ANET listens to all the crying terrible bads who need to L2P, who roll with glass cannon builds, and who get killed by a thief in a few seconds then come on forums and QQ all day about how they're OP.

I mostly just hate how annoying Thieves are to track down when you've nearly killed them and they decide to flee while invisible. Not as satisfying to win a duel unless you know you've downed them. -.-

Well, that, and their invisibility combined with the WvW player rendering problem needs looked into.

Yeah, rendering problems are also a cause of some of these complaints.

And mhmm.. I can escape pretty much any group or person in WvW, part of the reason I love thief. But I do try to never run away from a 1v1 when roaming solo if I am starting to lose, I let them have their kill if they earned it.

Actually if I encounter someone 1v1 out in a map somewhere, I only really down them. Often I'll /bow while they are downed, and leave them to heal. =)

We should get a lil thread going to help new Ebay thieves out. I've seen a lot lately.

Maybe help get them going on the right foot because we all know its just not steal cloak bs roflbomb.

Im still tweaking on my p/d build changed some more stuff last night.  I'll probably drop it for Ebay when I finish.
