Introducing Myself and Saying Hello

It's so nice to meet you all! I am brand new to MMO's and Guild Wars 2.
I was able to play GW2 during the Trial Weekend thanks to a kind soul on Facebook (Thank You!) and I was hooked! I bought the game during the Black Friday sale and have been playing every day since! LOL! This game is stunning. The graphics are beautiful! And the game is filled full of nice people!
I am very much enjoying playing the game. It's kinda addicting. Such a nice escape when you have a bit of time. I am still trying to figure out how all the controls work and such.
I bought the game guide which is helping a lot.
My main character is a Mesmer named Orreeo (If they offer name changes in the future I am so changing the name - I had no idea what I was doing when I created her. I was just thinking of the new Oreo Cake Cookies! LOL!). I also had no idea that playing a Mesmer was one of the hardest professions to master. But that sounds like me. When I do something, I usually dive right in!
I am loving the challenge of the profession and the game and am looking forward to making many more friends in-game and having many adventures together! So happy to have found the game and this forum!

I was walking along in Kessex Hills (I think), last night and some nice lady saved my life while I was being attacked by an ostrich-bird type thing. She said she was there to observe the scenery for a fan-art-pic she was working on and was going to post here when it was done. She said this was a GREAT forum to participate in. So now I'm here and scoping things out!
Thank you for welcoming me! :-)

I remember being new and fresh faced to MMO's, and then I met Jhon....
That was 5 years ago, and that is all I will say

Give me a shout if you need anything

A striking testimonial to demonstrate an improvement in quality of life.

I see that you are with a guild so odds are you are receiving some support from them, and I am not sure how high in levels you are right now, but if you need a set of 10 (or 12) slot bags then let me know and I'll gladly provide them to make your inventory management a bit easier. Same goes for anyone else who's new to the game and may be reading this now (yes, that means you unregistered visitor!

I heard they made bigger bags and chests but I wasn't sure how you get them.
And if I got a bigger bag, what do I do with the 4 slot ones?
(Appreciate any advise on the matter.)

(Should this post go on a different thread? If so let me know).

Bigger bags become available from NPC vendors as you naturally progress through the game, are available on the trading post or you can pick a crafting profession that is related towards armor creation and they provide the option to create bags of bigger sizes as you increase your crafting level.
Once you obtain bags of bigger sizes and find yourself replacing your existing ones, you can send those smaller bags to your alternate characters to make the early leveling process for them much more comfortable.

P.S. Belated welcome to the Ehmry community!

The little bags are basically useless. You may be able to vendor the ones that you looted for a few copper, the starter one can only be destroyed. I'll mail you some larger bags, Kelland is your character name as well?
