To be fair, I think you made some valid points that I will in turn take back to my guild for future improvement. Thanks for being so cool, especially when I wasn't completely :) The troll comment was a bit overboard, I apologize.

This is an important point. There are now at least a few of us from PK on these forums that really want things to be better for everyone, so we will listen to any valid complaints and do our best to improve things.

GW2 is not designed to be a delivery method for moral teachings, it is a game for entertainment purposes only.
With any online community you will have members who's social skills are not as progressed as others, usually due to age. Everybody has to learn how best to co-exist, and most people learn through mistakes like this thread.

I have made my fair share of bonehead threads/posts in my time so it is not my place to judge the OP. I dare say most of the other members on this forum would be in the same boat as me.

If it was just a game strictly about entertainment then I don't think the developers would emphasize their passion for "creating communities" and adding achievements such as "teamwork gets it done", if you catch my drift. I mean yeah, granted it's a game, and games are for entertainment, but then again so are movies and shows and they can all have morals and lessons. I feel it's pretty evident that gw2 is centered not only around the player, but teamwork between players.

I'm just saying that I don't think the developers would put so much time and effort into things such as the character development in the story, such as Caithe/Rytlok/Zojja/etc, the conflicts between the orders like the Vigil/Priory/Order of Whispers, if they weren't trying to portray some sort of lesson for us all.

I understand that everyone has bought the game for their own reasons. Personally, I bought it because it concentrates around players working together to reach common goals. EX: dungeons, wvw, personal stories, conflicts and events around the map. (Aside from the absense of subscription fees and badass music and combat mechanics).

On a side note, I'd like to thank Thuley for his time and efforts of getting us all to connect with one another via the forums and teamspeak.

This thread is scheduled to auto-close after a week is up, which I believe is sometime tonight.  I am quoting the OP below in full to preserve what's a good example of how to not voice concerns one may have.

If anyone has a problem with the way I run things they are welcome to make a well reasoned argument to me about it via PM.  I will give a well reasoned argument due consideration and then make a decision about it one way or another.  Once that decision is made the matter is done and over with.

I strive to let my decision-making reflect that I care about this server and its community as a whole.  That may at times be at odds with the needs and desires of an individual, but such is life.  One good example of this is that I, as individual, would like to remove a few people from this forum because I simply do not like them.  As admin I put my individual need aside and keep the forum open to people whether I like them or not.

Guild Wars 2 is rated T for Teen, meaning ages 13 and up.  I realize that some members may lack the life experience in how to interact with other members in an anonymous online environment and I do believe that I am allowing for some slack because of it.  However, personal insults, blatant lying, repetition of things that are known to be false, etc. etc. do not get one's point across.

If someone wants to make an argument then it's important to have a well reasoned and well written line of thought that the reader can follow and subsequently agree with.

Should there ever be the type of post quoted below directed to any member of this forum, including myself, it will result in an immediate and permanent ban because it leaves no doubt in my mind that the poster has no desire to meaningfully contribute to the betterment of this community.

With that, you, the reader, have a few more hours to post something in here (please, no more kittens, seriously) before this thread closes.

Im generally a nice person; however, it seems that thuley is a bit of a nazi.

Firstly I thought this forum was created for the use of ehmry bay to connect and stay in contact with other ehmry bay members. The biggest problem is that thuley simply controls everything to his dismay.

I do understand that you are the tyrant of these forums i'm sure I'll be banned and this thread will be deleted. Butut thuley do me a solid. Leave this thread open for a week and don't ban me for a week so I can see others input. That's what the threads are created for, correct?

To me I see you (thuley) always siding with the women. If madison writes a post with her passive aggressive tendency then you side with her.

Eventhough it's clear she means to cause psychological pain, she is still considered correct. If I bluntly tell you that you suck, then you complain.

Now, I do not intend for anyone to be angry, but if you are then so be it.

I simply want input from my fellow ehmry bay players.
