Watching Fruits Basket, mix of humor and story.  Moderate pacing will lose some, cute and somewhat uplifting.

Recently finished Soul Eater.  Nice mix of anime action, humor, and drama/story.  Very quirky characters.  Excellent visual style that presents the look of madness or creepiness in it's characters well when it occasionally does so.  Also Excalibur, FOOL!!

Favorite Anime is Trigun.  Action, humor, morales, and a quirky dope of a hero who is far more intelligent/sensitive than he ever acts.  Great supporting characters who stick in your memory.

I just found out there was a trigun movie released! So I've gone ahead and gotten that to watch sometime soon. I'm also on episode 16 of steins;gate and it's still one of the best things I've ever watched. I tried out soul eater a while back and just couldn't really get into it.  Maybe it's something worth trying again  because I'm running low on titles right now xD

Just finished Trinity Blood yesterday, but I have this feeling that'll have to go back and rewatch the last three episodes. I was playing guild wars 2 at the same time, and I think I might have zoned out and missed the ending.  All the same, great series. Definitely on my reccomend list, though I will say watch until episode 2 because I had a hard time getting past episode 1.

Chobits makes for a humorous and slightly perverted anime that is actually extremely deep.  It's actually one of the deeper animes I've watched despite the seemingly perverted humor setup.  Started for the perverted humor, loved it for the depth.  Poor Chi.

So I'm officially finished with Sword Art Online as of last night now. Honestly, I wish the series would have ended at 14. Not because the rest of the series is bad but because well it was perfect. Now I'm killing some time in between family get togethers time to try adn make that last push to finish up steins;gate

It's been so long since I've watched Chobits I honestly don't remember much about it. Caliedo Starr anyone?! One of my um guilty pleasures I guess xD

My currently watching list is now: Jormungand, K, Steins;Gate, Another, Mirai Nikki and Natsuyuki Rendevous I've kind of been binging lately ;3

Have u guys seen blood+ ? It's the only vampire genre show that I can bear as it just felt so... Realistic despite obvious fictional concepts, and so detailed, it's the way it draws u in and sets up the whole thing. I really enjoyed it. See it if you got time!

Finishing off "Btoom!" One of the last 2012 series I have to watch.
SAO was really bad. Turned into porn during the last few episodes.
Mirai Nikki is a good series. Horror and insanity. good combo :3
Guilty Crown was meh. Good art and music but the storyline was lacking.
Got sick of the school life/romance/comedy genre ages ago. which means I hate about 80% of all anime.

Although I can play one of the Tari Tari songs on the piano. I might link it.

Edit: My favourite is still Code Geass. Havnt met a main character that matches up to Lelouch.

I watched Blood+ long time ago, should really find someone with a copy of it to rewatch it. A more recent thing I've watched is that Japanese Old Folk tales series shorts. It's pretty cute actually~<3!! Really love tales like that, :3

I read more mangas and doujinshis these days. Currently going through Sasameki Koto (the english translation comes so slow! T_T).

I miss older series like Excel Saga, they don't come out crazy shits like that anymore, hahahahaa! Madlax, Noir, Kannazuki no Miko, Higurashi no naku koro ni, You're Under Arrest, Bakuretsu Tenshi, .Hack//Sign, Vandread 1st and 2nd, Fate Stay Night, Maihime, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, xxxholic, Gatekeepers, Digimon 1/2, Yakitate Japan are amongst my favourites to watch back then, if it's still counted, XDDD

This topic saddens me a lot, I used to be a major otaku,

Went to Harajuku on the weekends when I was a foreign exchange student in High School,

Then I finally come back and  live in Japan for the last 5 years or so, and its like ever since I finally got here and the longer I have been here the time had flown by and life to picked me up and hasn't let me enjoy anime or much since I have been here.  I've maybe been able to visit my favorite places a handful of times.

I can always say what really got me to love anime is well sailor moon, and Sonic the Hedgehog (yes some can agree to disagree on the later).

Other titles that always had amazed me and I would capture the artform was CLAMPs artwork ... ie   Chobits, Rayearth, X 1999, etc.

But I could go on and on with this subject and how I have missed out on the last 5 years or so, and look forward to getting back into it within the next year, as I will bundles of more time.

I definitely understand! minus the whole living in japan part xD I've been hardcore anime binging the past couple weeks it's been pretty fun. A few years ago when adulthood kicked down my door I really missed alot of animes! Now my spawnling is showing his own interest in anime So, I've taken this opportunity to catch up!

Also! Completed Jormungand and K just stated watching Canaan! Recently acquired Usagi Drop and Another those will be done soon :]

If you're hardcore you'd read the manga and anime in RAW!

RAW POWAH!!

Anyway. Who reads yugioh? It's so evil compared to the anime!
