Don't let them troll you .  They require your cooperation for such and there is nothing to "win" from your request.  Assuming they don't have a screen shot they will just use their response to your challenge to troll further.  It's what trolls do.  It's in their guild name even .

You got the order of operation wrong.

What you write on here is first and foremost your responsibility, not mine.  It's up to you to keep yourself in check which is not an unreasonable request to make and somehow everyone is capable of doing it in the professional world where real life consequences are an adequate deterrent.

Only if all else fails I take action, if I am aware of the situation.  On here the only deterrent is separation, and as we have seen a few times already that is simply not enough.  I cannot make someone a better person, my only option is to prevent them from making further posts after the fact.

I have over the past few days spend quite a bit more time than usual in WvW.  During that time I have come across quite a few pk members of whom I have nothing but good things to say and who are completely unaware of the forum drama that has been unfolding here at times.

I also know for a fact that more pk members joined this forum recently in an effort to better the perception the forum population has about pk, better their guild, and better the server.  I do believe that this effort should be recognized by all and restraint should be practiced when there is an issue with a specific member of pk (or any other guild really).

There are multiple people in leadership positions for any guild that's on the forum present to take up issues with individual members with the officers of the guild as opposed to making a public spectacle out of it which in the end just leads to further complicating the situation.

With that I ask that all involved, no matter how right or wrong they are, give it a rest and put this particular matter behind them.  Nothing good will come from dragging this on and on and on.  If you look at the stats we just surpassed 1,400 members and are approaching 20,000 posts.  We have thousands of unique visitors to this site per day many of whom are just casually reading it.  We have hundreds of players in WvW enjoying the game and trying to advance this server into a higher tier.

When you compare the scale of those things with the issue one has with one particular player, then that issue starts to look very small.

It's my hope that both pk and punk can take it easier on each other on the forums, don't jab at each other, stay out of each others' threads for a bit if that is what it takes and remember to take up issues one has with individual players with the officers of the respective guilds (who most all have demonstrated a willingness to take care of issues) rather than dragging it out into the public eye.

I will agree that the newer members of pk that have been posting here have been genuinely wanting to make up for lost ground in reputation from the faults of their younger, louder, members. I for one will continue to defend my guildmates (if its warranted) but will not contribute to actively defaming pk for their words/actions in and out of game. They've done that on more than one occasion on their own. I truly hope you weed out the bad apples and give others that have less restraint little reason to continue attacking.
