I tend to look for the Jinks comments because we have our little banter going on, and maybe I missed something but I haven't seen anything that required a read only status...wth - we get a lot of good information from here - we have serious game discussion, and other off topic stuff - and we have FUN - I do not understand why the people that joke around and make us laugh get banned.
I'd like to see why he was put in this status - I have fun with Jinks and this is annoying!

In the past I tried a different approach with the "moderated" status where folks could still post after approval once they ran into some issues with sticking to the Ehmry Community Standards but that is no longer feasible since it requires too much admin overhead.
The new method is to simply remove posting rights which is signified by a pink Read-Only user group.
While members who have been put in the Read-Only group are not able to make posts they can still use the PM system. I just fixed that, it wasn't previously possible but that was merely due to an oversight on my part when creating the Read-Only group and not intended.
This means that members placed in Read-Only can contact me to discuss the issue if they wish to do so.
