If one of you could point out just one occasion where Jinks offered any type of usual information, I might be able to agree with you, but from what I've read he really supplied nothing to the community other then random boasts about himself and asinine ridicule to anyone that didn't play exactly like him, and even those people couldn't "match his skill."

I for one totally understand why he's been silenced.

I have no objections to posts for fun, as long as it's in a thread where it has a place. When you respond to posts about build questions or game strategies with lines like "well if you wanna play like a pussy, use a tampon" it completely derails the conversation and thus defeats the purpose of these forums.

...and to be clear, I'm not offend by the language or attitude, I get that kind of humor. My problem with it is that he never supplied any information or reasoning behind his thinking. He would just spout out "that's fucking stupid" and say it was only luck or shitty players that allowed for anyone other than him to succeed.

Yeah, at first it seemed like his constant antagonistic attitude was a joke or something early on, thus being slightly humorous .. but as time went on it never improved. Someone that negative and rude on a consistent basis, even if it wasn't that inflammatory at times, is best not posting in a constructive place whatsoever.

At least sometimes there is context to why someone may be angry in a thread, but his remarks were out of place and seemingly unwarranted. Many who are new here would wonder why this fellow was so oddly angry, even if his remarks were never that jam-packed with what would commonly be labeled as an out-rightly rude post.

I think Thuley made a good decision for the overall community here, even if this isn't my server anymore.

Why is this even a thread. There are rules clearly posted. It's common decency to follow the guidelines posted, it's not very difficult either. I honestly believe the rules are fairly lax. I never really minded jinx but this whole "omg free jinx, damn you Thuley" is laughable

Whoa, I think you're misunderstanding me. I brought up the context because I remembered Cynical liking the post, and figured they were buddies. I was just saying I guess I could see why that last post might have been why he got a block.

I call my buddies shit like that all day long, so those posts don't bother me. But I'm not the boss.

Nothing more, don't mind Jinks at all, and definitely not scrutinizing him.
