My goldfish was murdered by a petsitter. They poop a lot anyways, no more fish for me.
Also, I like to think that we took the signature idea and ran with it, making it a lot better than it started as. I mean, really, we cleaned up the scenery, getting rid of all those crazy phone poles. Where do you guys live that there are that many phone poles?? It's INSANE! Can't they like...cut it down and string multiple lines to a single pole? Someone needs to fire whoever came up with the current set up. Horrendous and shameful waste of trees....and poles.
[EDIT] I much preferred Drake back when he was Jimmy the brooding ex basketball star who loves to draw comic book pages. Oh Jimmy, if only you hadn't tarred and feathered that kid with glasses. tisk tisk. Everyone knows that Radio Free Roscoe was the best show ever though.

I had a goldfish that lasted 5-6 years until it committed suicide I thought that was pretty good, I'm not even joking about his death though this fish got as close to doing his own version of Seppuku that a fish can.
(Long Story short he dived out of his bowl onto a knife on the washboard, while we were washing up by the sink and impaled himself.)

jeeeeeez. that's intense. I had a beta once that really wanted to live until i tried to help it live. I hated it because, well, i hate fish unless i'm eating them. Some dumb friend just dumped it on my doorstep. It was a female beta, so it wasn't even pretty. It ended up dying once i started feeding it and cleaned its bowl. I think it preferred living in filth.

Yeah, people don't do their research with fish...A lot of people would be surprised (if they even cared, which most don't anyway). Pretty sad to me to own a living creature and not even learn anything about it to help it live a long happy life.
