I'm more than willing to help out with this stuff (although I might need an in-game message or two since I keep forgetting there is an Event Section Here). However, I agree with Maksyn and have no real desire to create an Ehmry Version of TTS.

I think (and maybe I am wrong) the idea behind the guild is just for a list so everyone can easily be messaged from the guild window as a reminder or check the guild info for updates easily. I am in TTS and that's all that's basically used for as well. They aren't selective with who they have join you just go on a waiting list if they run out of guild room.

I'd happily replace my guild slot with the ehmry bay one to do things on this server even if it meant doing it less.

You are right Repeata. The guild is just a list of people that are interested in getting organized for world boss.

I assume most people in game never read the forum here. So the guild will be helpful for all these players. After each event, I will change the message of the day to give infirmation about the next event. That way you have all the infirmation you need about the events directly in the game. It might also be used to whisper each guild member once before the event start.

More info when I make the guild post tonight.

Also, first event will be Saturday at 4pm server time (more info about that soon). I will try to do 2-3 events per week, more if other people step up to lead such event.

We might have a slow start at first, depending on how many players show up but with time I'm sure we will get good results. It might just be me but if I see the guild size grow it would mean that the interest of Ehmry Bay in downing world boss is growing and we are getting closer to killing them.

Ok, guild created and guild recruitment post written (anybody ever read these boring wall of texts!? Anyway it's there mostly for reference only...).

Let's get it started! :)

Well, that's the primary function of the guild : inform it's member when is the next event to make it easier to gather people. As stated in the guild statement post (see link above), the next event will always be written on the guild message of the day, so you can easily check for upcoming events directly in the game. Also, because nobody ever read the message of the day, guild member will receive a whisper about the event before it starts. And finally, there will be a post in the event section on the forum.

Can't do more than that... And I won't start adding everyone that want to be informed on my friend list or try to synchronize with 20 different guild leaders to find out the best day for the event. I just don't see it happening without forming a guild. The guild is there to make hosting and organizing big scale events effortless.

For event runners, it keeps them informed about future events
For event leaders, it gives them a platform to easily promote and organize their events.

All depends if people hop in. It only require a guild spot, nothing else. There is no rep requirement so if you are in a guild that require you to rep 100% of the time, you can still join just to see the message of the day or receive a whisper on the day of events.

Ah, I see.

Seeing as to how you're in TTS, I have a question. Are they based off the European Servers or something? I ask because someone told me to check their website to see when they do Teq and Wurms. When I looked, it specifically said that all times were Server Times, but then every single time for the Wurms was listed at even hours (the wurms spawn at odd server time hours). So, I'm confused.

They want people to get there an hour early to find out how many and get roles set up before going. So they set the times as that instead of actual spawn time. If you go to teq run at the time of spawn unless your extremely lucky your too late as they can't guarantee overflow runs (even though they try hard to do it).
