This Feature Pack will focus primarily on PvP and WvW content. So here's to improvements!! Below are the already released title for each day:

Summary Information Page

Week 1 - WvW and PvP

Do You Feel Glorious?

- Option for Standard Enemy models in sPvP

- PvP Armor and Reward Track


Rebalancing Act (Extremely General See below for more Detailed)

- Warrior / Thief Changes (Nerfs and Buffs)
- Ranger / Engineer Changes (Mostly Buffs)
- Elementalist / Mesmer Changes

- Guardian / Necromancer Changes


Tricks and Explosive Finales

- Siege Disabler

- Golem Mastery



Command the Rainbow

- Commander will become Account Bound
- Commander tag price will be increased to 300g
- All colors will be unlocked with Commander Tag (red, blue, yellow, purple)



Prepare to Fight

- WvW Season 3
- 4 Week Tourny, rewards everyweek


Each of these days I will try my best to relay the information quickly and concisely to this forum. I'm going to go ahead and reserve to posts ( 1 for each WvW and PvP). Check back from time to time for more information!

Week 2 - A Fresh Start

Megaserver System Improvements

- Guilds are now Global, rather than server bound now

- Repeated unlocks will be reimbursed

- Guild-mates are given a priority in map spaces (small priority)

- New map shutdown method (meaning collapsing a map that has multiple copies)


Game Improvements


- No more dungeon instance owner

- Crafting UI now has breakdowns of needed ingredients to help you craft things easier

- Server Performance Updates



Craftsman's Tools


- New low level rares to give new players a sense of accomplishment

- New Crafting Backpacks (Pictures)

- Loot drops will be more oriented towards something your profession can use


A Fresh Start

- Personal Storyline redesign (unlocked in tiers)

- Changes to when certain things are unlocked (downstate, weapon attacks, etc.)

- Nothing new for veteran players

Week 3 - Collecting and Trading

Miniatures and Finishers in Your Account Wardrobe

- Miniatures are no longer stored in the Collectables; Now stored in your Account Wardrobe

- Now you can Account Bind Minis (also destroying them) to put them in Wardrobe

- New Miniature Slot so that you mini will follow you map to map and other benefits

- You can still equip minis that you have not account bound

- Any minis in your bank now will be saved their until you remove them and then the spot will disappear

- Minis now stack


Introducing the Collections Achievement Category


- New Rewards for completing Collections (Also Achievement Points)

- Collection tab in bank will become Materials tab since minis are being moved out

- Example Collection is collecting all the different Spoon Trinkets in Tyria

- Any skins in your current wardrobe will be automatically updated to their Collections

- Achievements tab cleaned up a bit



Trading 2.0

- New Browser interface, stated to be much faster

- New Filters, additional

- Evon Gnashblade Mode: "I am Evon Gnashblade" in the search field to see more results at a time

That's how I interpret this as well.  Week 1 - PvP/WvW, Week 2 - NPE, Week 3 - trading/inventory.

So, WvW updates. Maybe they'll add an extra sentry. In EotM.

In semi-seriousness, though, I really do hope these WvW updates actually include something substantial. (I suppose a new map isn't likely, but maybe some new areas à la the ruins?) There was some talk of colored commander tags and a golem mastery line, which would be all very well if implemented, but those will do nothing to alleviate the malaise of stagnation that always seems to be encroaching on this poor neglected mode.

Pictures of these were on the ZAM article concerning the release. There's not much detail of them, just two small pictures.

having diff. options of tags would be nice so we can run diff. kinds on same map...

Golem mastery might be OP.  But coloured tags would be great.  Less confusion if you have multiple commanders on a map.  You can join squad, which good, but it's nice to see where the other commanders are too.

and what style of commanding they are doing (roaming, zerging, etc) like 5 keys words or such that a commander could pick from.

yeah all we need in the golem mastery tree is at 5/5 or 10/10...you can active an army of asurian engineers to attack the ennemy:)

Well apparently as far as Golem mastery goes,  we have at least a couple of people with enough extra ranks to buy the skills outright.  So if it goes ahead we will quickly see if it is worth the points.

Kk. I have rearranged the posts. The 3 posts are now one for each week. Rebalancing Act should be released later tonight or tomorrow sometime. If you watch the GW2 stream "Ready Up" you should already know the ranger, engineer, thief, and warrior changes.

I saw the thief and warrior changes, where did they give the ranger and engineer ones?

Yeah look at what Raven linked above, I'll post them here shortly when I start populating this topic more. I just do editing on my tablet so it's slow to link sites and what not.

I added stuff to the first post. Links to more detailed Rebalancing of Engi/Warrior/Thief/Ranger. I will add the others as they become available (Fridays during "Ready Up").

Also, I highly encourage you all to read the Guild Mag Article. It's pretty cut and paste on how to avoid answering a question, but a lot of the questions are good. A lot of people are not happy with what Arenanet is not working on. ( FoV, 1st person view, SAB, precursor crafting, etc.). There's going to be an additional half of the interview released later this week. I'll post that one as well.

Everything for Week 2 has been posted! Nothing spectacular, but some are interesting if you want to start another alt. I won't be on at all this weekend so I won't be able to post the Guardian/Necro changes from Ready-UP tomorrow. If some1 would like to link them, dulfy should post them on reddit sometime immediately after the podcast. Next week is supposed to have more stuff relatable for vets, but we'll see. Reddit is dying atm, but really I don't think all these features are that bad.

The whole "arrows pointing you in the right direction" thing kinda gave me the heebie-jeebies—I mean, I'm not an elitist, but it's not like it's difficult to find your way in this game as it is; does it really need more handholding?—but overall, the changes sound pretty positive. A little more clarity (and player-pleasing fanfare) at level-up won't hurt, and breaking the personal story into proper chapters makes a lot more sense than the current arrangement.
