So, I've been absent lately. This is due to me getting my creativity back.

And since I'm a complete attention hoarder, I have decided to post my Art that is not GW2 related.

So first, A muse of mine. Nakunaru Kioku. Kio for short.

I hope you guys have your screens calibrated correctly. This looked orange on my 2nd monitor, but looked perfect on min main monitor.

Could you put any more abs on him? Why do I get the feeling that future boyfriends will be asked to go to some sort of convention dressed like that?

And why is it always windy in southeast Asian inspired art? Even in tentacle porn it's never just a still day!

Thanks Xyvol. Im actually terrible at backgrounds and even more terrible at visualization. I generally just start painting and go with whatever comes out. So im pretty stoked at how it came out.

I COULD. Unless you are talking about only rectus abdominus. Then no I couldn't. Otherwise I always try to draw serratus anterior, then erase it because i cant get it to look right. My friend always yells at me telling me its gross that I draw all 8 major muscles of the abdomen.

No, No, The purple hair just wouldn't do it for me in real life. Going to a convention as Mitsurugi however... <3

If you think those tentacles are being blown by the wind then you have a problem.

Off-color kidding aside, I think my favorite part of this pic is the background. You've got this misty, mysterious thing going on that contrasts nicely with the brighter red and purple. Pretty cool.

Yea that's what I was going for, splash of red. I am little disappointed though, I couldn't make it make as big of an impact as I wanted it to.

Well, I'm no artist, but I think the impact is pretty strong all the same. The overall composition guides the eye towards the center, and then the red really pops.

Thanks. B&W is excellent for estimating value rather than color. Getting your shading and shadows correct should always take presidence over color.

Been working on this for a couple days. Rocks sure are boring to draw. This is a study of the sea and cliff/rocks.

Thanks guys. I was very pleasantly surprised at how the water came out. And on that same note, the cliffs too. Natural structure is something I still need focus on geting down. Ive studied a very long time on muscles and the human form, so I have been slacking on nature and landscapes. (Which I find hilarious because nature is my most favorite thing to photograph)
