[Weapon VX]

But which one of my 3 engi's should I bring, hmm decisions decisions...

Well, I made mine a charr, too. For lore reasons. Charr are known for their more modern weapons of war. (Guns, tanks, cannons, etc.)

I have a Charr and a Human Engi.

Charr makes the most sense if you look at the visual design of the Engineer kits/turrets. IMO they should've made the kit, tool, and turret designs unique for each race (i.e. steampunk for Charr, magi-science for Asura, watchwork for Human, etc.)

I know I missed the Asuran Raid, hopefully bringing an 80 Engy to an uplevel zerg will even things out.

I've been saying this for three years. I get why they didn't do it, of course, but in terms of setting and aesthetics, it's still weird. At the very least, it'd be cool if the engineer items looked more like they'd been cobbled together from charr, asuran, and human tech (like the Pact airships).

Aduah how did you get the impression that I didn't already imagine it? I've already laid forth plans on how to apply it (evil smirk)

We will be running in an organized fashion, so don't think it's going to be a herd of cats. It's going to be a herd of heavily agitated asura and charr (with some human, norn, and sylvari mixed in). All in the mood for roflrolling their way through every keep in their way.

Forgot to mention, I can record the fun and trolling tonight if you guys want me to. If I do, it'll be likely available for viewing Friday morning.
Could also do this for future "special" WvW raids or events. Would be good publicity for Ehmry, I think, for them to see that the community actively plans things like this rather than it all be hidden on our forums

Yea, I think its good publicity for Ehmry. Also Try Kevin McLeod of Incompetech he has tons of stuff. http://www.incompetech.com/ They are under creative commons, so you just need to credit him.

I know of him, I'm suppose I'll was just looking for a specific suggestion.
Kevin's got a bunch of funk/junk songs, which I think fits the engineer theme, so it's definitly a step in the right direction.
Thanks for the reminder! Sometime the simpliest solution is the most obvious one.

Of course. Ive been listing to kevin's stuff all morning to see if anything jump out at me. I'll let you know if something jumps out at me for an engi vid. I was thinking it might be fun to make a creative vid. What recording software do you use?

I've recently been using Action! by mirillis. Long time Fraps user, and for a little while, I used XSplit Gamecaster. Only been playing with it for a few months but I'm thoroughly impressed.

Part that won me over the most was separate audio tracks at the cost of bigger files (IE, Guild Wars 2 audio is separate from my microphone, from TeamSpeak, Windows Media Player, Skype etc,etc). While that doesn't sound like a good thing to begin with, once you move over to editing it's a blessing in disguise. Having freedom over separate audio inputs in post instead of balancing them in pre saves a LOT of time.

For editing, I got a full version of Vegas 13. Not as fast as Premier, but I sold my old machine with my adobe programs on it ages ago. Haven't been able to relocate my serial keys. It gets the job done either way.
And, of course, Audacity.

I think you should record the special events because I can't attend any of them, thus, I can't record them. I use Nvidia Shadowplay, but it's only for some GTX cards, I believe.

As for Royalty-free music, you can try Newgrounds Audio Portal as well; most of the stuff there is royalty-free.

I actually have a lot of Touhou fan-made music arranges from Japan (these are generally hard to find if you don't know where to look), and they're pretty much all royalty-free.

I tried to get the shadow play to work on my machine. It didnt want to seem to work (by this i mean the box just sat there like it was initializing forever.)

Yah, I have a GT 740M but unfortunately it isn't a GTX.
Shadowplay appears as an option in GeForce Experience but it won't start for me. Available but not "supported" on my card I suppose.

MIDIs are mostly free-use, since they count as covers/remixes and such last I checked(also depends on who composes it and if they want me to credit/take their song off), but YouTube is a real prick.
