About the only Japanese artist I listen to. She's got an angelic voice.

I don't know if this fits into this thread because this isn't really a song as much as it is a mix. QubicLoop is one of my favorite users on Niconico Douga. So if you like (1) anime and Jpop, (2) mashups and (3) dance mixes, then you'll probably enjoy his/her latest mix. A Niconico account is required to view the video unfortunately but if you're into this stuff, you should already have a Niconico account. The mix hasn't been posted to either his mixcloud, soundcloud or YouTube accounts yet.

Let me take this opportunity to share a local band from my country, the Philippines. They released their first EP last year and it became the #2 best-selling OPM (Original Pilipino Music) record in the country.

They're inspired by The Strokes and other Indie Rock bands, as well as OPM rock, and I honestly think they are really good. They performed in my high school last year and they were amazing.

I just bought their EP and the songs have been stuck in my head, so here's the sampler for their EP (It's English; don't worry):

Heatbeat are one of my favorite new EDM DJs/producers. Just love their sound. This song isn't as good as "Roses Never Cry" or their remix of Parker & Hanson's "Afterthought" but I'm still digging it at the moment.

I've found that vocaloid is something you're either into or not into. It's certainly not for everyone. But livetune is just too awesome at making catchy (pop) beats and has been one of my favorites since his Niconico Douga days. Bank screwed up my order so I won't be getting this album for awhile. Instead here's a cute video for the first single release!

Have to agree you on that; Vocaloid strikes me as a love it or hate it kind of thing, and even then, the quality of Vocaloid music depends on the producer making the song itself, not just the voice/character. That said, GUMI's my favorite, especially the songs made by Yucha-P(ゆちゃP).
