Nothing comes to mind in August other than the best guitarist (IMO) ever. I was a casual listener w/ metallica but this song really got me rooted into metal.

So, not only does Kanzaki Hiro have a great job as the original character designer for Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, but he also throws out some great trance tunes in his free time. Here's his latest release, a bootleg remix of kz(livetune)'s "Tell Your World" (my favorite vocaloid track of 2012). This tune is more of a DnB tune than a trance one.

Seriously, you kinda took the words right out of my mouth.   I don't think I know any Gareth Emery music.  I just know the name from the plethora of good remixes he does for trance artists.

On an even more awesome note, OceanLab is so freaking awesome.  Justine Suissa is welcome to come to my house for coffee and chocolate any day of the week.   Have her people call my people.

Yeah, totally agree. His original works are good and I like them when I hear them but I know him more for his remixes. "Sanctuary" with Lucy Saunders was decent. "Concrete Angel" was meh.

Also agree with you on OceanLab. Sirens of the Sea is such a fantastic album. I wish Above & Beyond and Justine Suissa would collaborate on another OceanLab album.

His old stuff is what trance was all about.


Recently he's been doing a lot of electro house kind of stuff like most old trance artists are doing nowadays. I still love the stuff he does though.

TBH it's Lamar making noise to bring competition back to hip hop, the responses from Joell Ortiz and Lupe have been crazy dope bars.
