Now if I look at it from an Engineer point of view The Predator gives me

and I am just not sure whether those stats are actually worth the grind.

How does the Mesmer weapon compare if you disregard the legendary as status symbol and just look at its dps/stats value?

The grind is for the skin.  My setup is precision, toughness, condtion damage, All the legendaries have the same stay set up.  Just sigils are different  

Its up to you if its worth it but from a damage perspective it wouldnt be worth it because you can get the same stats anywhere.

I dont mind the change honestly sincce I use GS mostly.  So when I have twilight equipped im more tanky than what im use to because of the Vitality but I lose a little condi damage but I dont mind.  I still bleed people for over 100 per tick some Im ok with that.

Yea its basically cosmetic You can get the required karma need in around 850k but requires some luck

I was unlucky most I know got it at around 800k total.

Also have to add I forgot.  the monthly and daily karma rewards with booster will give you close to 100k.  Wish that came out earlier

How long do you think this took you? I haven't even really started working on it except for working towards map completion. I don't have any use for karma at this point, so I'll just start saving it up and grinding cursed shore once I finish map completion I guess.

once again, Congratulations!!!! I'd love to see the video if you put it anywhere....people complain about how it looks on a mes, but no one ever puts up a video! I almost don't care if we don't get all the awesome effects...the sword looks awesome just in general.

Hi, I almost have my Dreamer! I'll show you when it's complete! To get it, I started with 100% map completion and Twilight Arbor's gift (add me and I'll TA with you whenever). For my Precursor (The Lover) I waited to find 4 rares short bows while farming plinx then mystic forged them. When I had 2 exotic short bows out of it, I'd just buy the other 2 and try mixing 4 lvl 80 exotic short bows. Approximately cost me 55g-60g and a lot of time. For the clovers, I went for 1 recipes, because all four 10 recipe attempts failed.

To get gold, I just npc everything I get from farming except rares that I salvage for ectos (Because you will need a lot). For the gift of might and Gift of magic I simply bought the remaining mats from TP. The longest part really is farming karma, I really got unlucky since it cost me about 650k karma worth of obsidian shards to get my clovers. If you have any other questions, add "Welley" in Emhry Bay; Always dungeoning or farming. Good Luck! (Unicorn rainbow shooting short bow ftw)

I had a question on the Twilight sigil. I saw that you confirmed that you can change the sigil on the pre-cursor. Does that sigil then carry over to the legendary? Or does it take the Superior Sigil of Blood that goes into the Gift of Twilight?

I can't say for twilight, but mine had the Sigil that you need in the mystic forge recipe. Per exemple, mine needed "Superior Sigil Of Purity" in the recipe, and that's the sigil I had on my Dreamer when it was forged.

so how are the guys who need lodestones for their legendary getting this done im just curious. I know the bow/staff dont need them but i gave up on trying to get them from the specific mob type ie elemental/sparks gave up on that low drop rate bs. Tried farming the specific dungeon sometimes never even got one core/lode out of 15 tries... so am i missing a particular method?

Then good luck getting the 100 you need anytime soon.  Unless there is some easy/cheap way to obtain them that I don't know about you'll have to farm/buy them over time.  Between the occasional charged lodestone drop, vendor trash, mystic forge, and trading post I make enough money to buy a handful of Onyx Lodestones each day and right now I need 27 more.

It sounds like you need Charged Lodestones though which is a higher level of suck but the same idea, gather what you can and over time you'll eventually have everything you need.

I have no problem with money I just wanted to know if there was a different way because 2 g 50 for 1 is crazy. I would rather use that money for my second legendary. Ive only needed 45 more to make sunrise for a month now because I gave up going after them after a week  I find onyx lodestones/core drop more frequently in TA then charged in COE but thats just from my experience. Its pretty bad when im probably 80% towards twilight because of lodestone drop rate..I guess ill wait till the 15th and see what happens. If they do fix the lodestone maybe by making them available to purchase from the specific dungeon tokens that would be great. If they did do this I will probably be close to eternity by end of december if the dusk doesnt spike higher in price and hopefully goes back down to 300 because I only need dusk, some t6 mats, badges of honor, and 70 onyx lodestones.

Honestly I don't want them changing anything as far as the legendaries are concerned.  If they actually change it so that you don't always get blue gear and garlic bread from dungeon/event chests that would be nice and if lodestones drop from dungeons more often great.
