Heyo!

My girlfriend and I just hit 80 a week or so ago, and we keep seeing FTF members around. Friendly bunch, and active! We're interested in joining, but we have a few questions.

- How's your tolerance on homophobic/racist/sexist remarks? We're really not interested in playing with people who call each other "fags" or make kitchen jokes and stuff.

- How hardcore is the guild overall? Is there a "minimum hours" requirement?  Do you guys get angry at players who mess up?

- Are there any contribution requirements?

Thanks, we're just trying to get a feel for the kind of guild you guys are. We're looking for something dedicated, but friendly.

My current lvl 80s that are fully equipped are:

Thief, Engineer,  Necromancer, and Mesmer.

For remarks like that, we have the "Red Light District" channel in teamspeak 3 to go to. There's a warning on that channel to expect over the top conversations...so anyone who enters there shouldn't feel offended if they became the topic of jokes. They are just usually having fun. Our guild chat though and all the other channels are for the general public. We're mostly mature people .Our chat is usually fun and lively. Since we're all here to play a game and have fun.

The guild is pretty big and mixed with different kinds of players. We have the hardcore group and we have the casual players. You will find out who are those who farm like crazy, those who have over 5k gold, those who lives in world vs world maps, those who logs in every now and then, the talkative types and those who have 10 legendaries if you stay long enough

There are if you plan on getting promoted within the guild.

Thanks. We have squads in the guild. Information about the squads are posted in the guild forums. If a squad interests you, you can contact the squad leaders.

What exactly does that mean? Would we be left out of events if we are not a certain rank (as an example)?

If you want to get promoted into ranks, you will have to meet certain requirements. You don't have to be in a certain rank to join our events. Some events though like our cursed shore karma runs and temple openings need you to be able to get to those maps to join us.

Age requirement? We prefer our members to be over the age of 18. If you are younger than that, you will have to act as if you're at least 18 years old and not annoy other members.Some 18 y/o and older though do not act their age but you get what I mean. Just be mature. Like for example, we had a 12 year old join our guild before and kept bugging members for gold to a very annoying level. I had to kick him out.

Thanks for letting me listen and learn in the channel Saturday evening.  I jumped out of my skin when I heard you say my name. I scrambled to find my mute button on my headset and mistakenly closed the chat window.  You were very gracious and gentlemanly.  

It was fun to find a quiet corner, open the map and watch the battle unfold.  Maybe someday I'll get the nerve to poke more than my little toe in WvW.   =)

[FTF] is now averaging 100 members online every night in the USA(we used to only get 100 online members on weekends). We are constantly recruiting so if you're interested in joining a friendly and relaxed all around guild, whisper Noice or Basthian in the game to get guild invites.


We are doing our first guild mission tonight, Friday, after a few hours of world vs world raid for the reset.
