Guild Bank Thieves and Scammers - Beware of these players!

I thought i should start a warning thread for guild leaders who are concerned that they might be inviting bad players to their guild.
I have had 2 incidents with players stealing items from my guild's bank to vendor trash despite clear instructions not to do so.
Offending players (character name in brackets):
Witamasicer.6371 (witamasicer)
TobleroneToby.3746 (Dr Dreamy)
James Owens.3029 (Ruby Jones)
austingill.9856 (H U L C)
These players were observed to not only be stealing items from our bank but we watched them do the same thing to several other guilds.
Witamasicer is a member of:
Nights Avengers
Reality Shift
Please note
Before making accusations against another player, please make sure you are able to provide screenshots that back up your claim.
We dont want to get into a game of "he said" "she said".
:edit:

It's nice to warn other players of harmful ones but starting a "These people suck" thread just doesn't seem like it fits the spirit of Ehmry.

Since stealing/scamming is against the rules of the game, why not just report them and be done with it?

In the end, gathering proof on each persons claims could be time consuming and messy.
If Thuley decides to delete this thread i will understand.

Sometimes I really wonder what is wrong with you.
Here's a guild that despite best efforts to secure their stuff with the very limited in-game mechanics that are available suffered theft of a bunch of stuff and you have nothing more to contribute than to add nonsense to this thread. There's a time and place to screw around but this thread isn't one of them.
Guilds are based on trust and guild bank theft is one of the biggest breaches of trust that can happen in-game.
I don't think that this thread would work for players calling out other players because that will end up being entirely too subjective. I do think that guild bank theft rises to the level of having a public list of accounts who engaged in such activity. I am inclined to let this stand because of that if we can come up with a way to essentially have some supporting documentation. In addition it would be good to have some info on whether a ticket was submitted and what ArenaNet's response to that ticket was. Don't publish ticket numbers though.

they shouldn't be welcome on the forum in the first place.
I'm fine with reading posts like this. It only disheartens me when I see it from one post wonders, or people with a vested interest in stirring up trouble. It should be easy to tell the difference if you are someone who cares about information such as people ripping off guild banks.
In short, if I would want to see it on my Guild Forums... I'd want to see it here.

It is no big loss to us, he was only given access to the low level stuff, just greens and a few buffs. What is more important to me is preventing the player from making a habit out of these activities.
By spreading the word around that he is a thieving bastard, the 1g worth of vendor trash he got would no longer be worth the effort.
I do suspect he was patient because he was able to see how much we had in the bank though, so i have changed permissions so that new people cannot even look at the bank.
I agree it would probably be helpful for there to be a Guild Leaders Forum but how do you establish who is a guild leader?

This is incorrect.
There is no area for guild leaders per se. There is an area for WvW leadership which is intended for guilds who are active in WvW. It's also incorrect that I need to be asked for access. What is true, as outlined in the "access request" thread in that forum is that existing WvW leadership needs to request access for other WvW guilds as I don't have any idea who is active and who is not.

This would also serve as a good measure to not single out people, since you might mention someone who probably lurks on this forum (believe it or not, I've gotten messages in-game from people I've never seen on this forum that thank/berate me because of what I say). Unless this is moved to the GL section of the forum for a more contained use of this info. Can't let the sheep know the wolf is there, right?

I have instead made it harder for new members to reach the rank required to gain access.
The GL section is only for WvW which means it would leave out a large number of GL's who are not active in WvW.
I don't mind if the players see this thread, who knows maybe knowing that their reputation is shot might inspire them to show a little more integrity?

Personally, I like having players accountable for their actions. While it is true that guild permissions can help to prevent this sort of problem, it would be nicer to have a community built on mutual trust and respect. If making misdeeds public will accomplish this, so be it. Although I would like to support the idea that evidence should be provided in every case.

He asked me to give him access because "my bank is full".
I was already suspicious of this guy because he was in Canada and appeared to have no reason for joining an oceanic guild.
I just told him "nice try buddy" before kicking him.
I won't post his name in this thread because i have no proof of any wrongdoing beyond my own suspicions, but if you want the players name just PM me.
