Ok this is wrong, dispite how you feel about how the forum is regulated it is not right to be abusing and cursing thuley, he puts in his own time to run this server and im sure rarely gets as much as a thank you, I am still not stating my opinion on the threads but stepping in as you cant just keep attacking someone so personally like this.

I dunno, I think he's been doing a good job of operating the place so far. We all won't always get along and he's a person too, so you can't really expect him to always be above the conflict in a game that he plays also. He's kind of in a bad spot - people want him to be an admin, but he's just another member as well. I'm really the last person to condone any kind of authoritarian attitude so maybe I've just missed the things you guys are referring to, but it seems to me that Thuley lets threads go on for quite awhile, considering what might be in them. I'm all for healthy conflict but sometimes...you know.

I saw some kind of comment on him not having a guild and just thought I'd point out that Thuley isn't in a guild because he doesn't want to misrepresent this as a guild forum and leave himself open to bias in that regard. I know he probably doesn't need or expect any of us to come in and defend him on that, but I just thought I'd point that out.

What do you guys expect out of Thuley, constructively? I don't like the idea of having a thread here just to attack him, especially with the effort he's put in to build this place up. I don't think he's averse to constructive criticism, but screaming, "Hitler!" won't really help, will it?

In my experience, Thuley has been very accommodating. If you chock this up to me being female, all the males that I know who regular the forums also have had no problems with Thuley. I suggest that if your guild has public relations issues, you should discuss among your members how you can change that within the community because starting threads like this does not help your public opinion.

Thanks for all you do Thuley. There will always be people who don't appreciate and undervalue the time and effort you're putting in, but know there is a lot of us that are extremely grateful and think you're doing an excellent job.

If you are referring to this thread Someone fill me in? then I already explained to you by PM that if you take an issue how people are treating you in private conversations then you should ask those people.  Nothing else makes sense.

This is one major case of both General Hellsing and Madison being unable to control their own guild members.

In the original thread, after Madison admitted she was under a lot of stress causing that sudden attack on General Hellsing for his honest question- ( seriously, anyone would ask what's with the name drop if it was any other guild or person instead. No one wants their name tied to a tragedy, even as an example. ) - I thought it would just end there with both guild leaders walking away with their differences.

Sadly, that's wasn't the case as both [PUNK] and [PK] members became white knights for their team. It was simply an issue between Madison and General Hellsing that was almost cleared up. Maybe an apology from Madison or a simple edit to take out PK out of the original post would have been done and dealt with. But that's just coulda/woulda/shouldas and it's way too late.

I'm really disappointed in how this has been handled by both sides and the peanut gallery jumping up and down on it. The utter lack of either guild leader coming in and telling their more vocal members to cool down and be more respectful rather than going "We're in the right, they're wrong." leaves me with a terrible impression of both guilds. It's like a pack of wild dogs lashing out at whatever moves. I just hope that some lessons are learned from this whole debacle and things are handled better without letting your guild members throw mud at each other.

Thuley, please stop letting this drag on. Nothing positive is coming out of this and people are just flocking like vultures to a dead horse made of drama. I just ask you to take a more neutral position next time and simply lock the thread without any more notice than "things are turning ugly in here". Taking a side just adds fuel to the fire.

Lock both of these terrible topics.

I agree with Tawa above to close the thread. As a matter of fact, I'm glad that PK openly started this thread because it does mean the relationships between parties are still salvageable. When people air their feelings, that means they still want to keep the relationship, else they just quietly pack and go.

Now the feelings are aired to the open to everyone to see, so such troll baiting behaviors in the past caused to disruption whether by Madison or Hellsing, should be warned openly by Thuley. Taking side regardless of your reasoning (how do you know that your reason having highest probability of being correct?), only re-enforce the image of what starting this thread.

Perhaps you're not reading the same threads, or perhaps you are wearing rose colored glasses for your team:

In the original thread, we PUNKs stayed out of it because pK was OVER THE TOP agitated because their name crossed our e-lips.  I think perhaps Hellsing has a reading comprehension issue and believes that she was comparing pK to the tragedy whilst pulling them into the thread to troll-bait them.  What she was saying was that the silly bickering between us and pK DOES NOT COMPARE to real life issues like that.  There are four faces to pK on this forum (5 now if you count the cactus kid, but he went from RIP leader to pK die-hard so quick it's difficult to sort him out).   Unacam is the normal one, Hellsing is the Bro who talks very tough on the internets but enjoys the great works of J.K. Rowling, Silent suffers from "Who ever drops the most F-Bombs is the winner" , and Ral is the Paladin of pK imploring you to consider how wrong you are and how you just don't understand the great works that pK does for YOU, the ungrateful worker bees.

None of the PUNK "White Knights" responded in these threads because Madison didn't need the help... pK were setting themselves on fire and posing for the photographer.  THIS thread was all about pK, and while I agree with some of the things they've said, I have made those points and arguments to Thuley in PM and not in the public eye (honestly, I wanted to, but he convinced me not to).

My point being, don't paint this to be a war between pK and PUNK, these two threads have been the pK shitshow and you've all been invited to the grand performance.

It's insane that this all happened on the day I don't check the forums.

I think you should consider what this forum would be like without a moderator. You may think anarchy is the way to go, but it would be nuts and give our server a horrible name.
Also, Thuley puts his time and probably money into this site to keep it running and keep it fun(prizes for contests and such). If there was no Thuley, there would be no Ehmry site.
I have not seen someone's thread deleted, locked, or a person banned for something that wasn't a decent reason. Some threads are just made for drama. You ask an inflamatory question and wait for responses so that you can yell back.

Honestly, I'm impressed with Thuley's ability to resist the urge to ban and lock threads. Be happy I'm not the Administrator. I mainly come back to the forums to get my daily drama fix (and the screenie contest).
I was just wondering a few days ago with some guildies as to why [pK] continues to get hated on for everything they post. Sometimes a few of you post legitimate things and just get hated on. Then I see threads like this, as well as one of the locked threads, and I understand.
That said, Madison including you in her post about the tragedy was unnecessary, as was her response, but I've no idea why this is even being discussed here.

I don't agree with everything Thuley does, but he's done a lot more than anyone else I can think of to make things work. I'd think that sort of dedication would earn an individual a couple "get out of jail free" cards.

After reading the responses to this thread, I went to read the other thread by Madison which people were referring to. My stance on the matter is that both sides are at fault and should move on. Madison was inappropriate in mentioning pk, pk was inappropriate in attacking Madison. There is no reason to attack Thuley who was merely trying to diffuse the situation. I stand by my original post to this thread though. If your guild receives backlash by the community that you do not want, think "what could we be doing that's causing this?" and not "fuck fuck fuck you all". This is a community and as such we need to think about how others will view what we post, as well as how our post reflects on our guilds and ourselves.
