so feel free to post! whether it be drawn, written, or via interprative dance~
here are my two girls:
Gladys Crieg:
Background: Skappa and Kezzer, an asuran couple of human enthusiasts, decided to marry with a human ceremony and take a human name. Thier obsession carried until the birth of thier first progeny, whom they also gave a human name. Because of this, Gladys Crieg has faced a great deal of ridicule in childhood. While some would be crushed under the constant insults and teasing, Gladys took strength from it. She was quite small, even for an asura, and trained to be an elementalist because she wanted to feel stronger. While setting her classmate's hair on fire was amusing for a time, it got her in a load of trouble. She was sent to the collage of statics, where her parents hoped the old fashioned professors would keep her in line. There she fell in love with history (which had nothing to do with her handsome professor) and after a few years of being the sole historian documenting the events of Rata Sum, she set out to learn about more obscure races, like the quaggen and skritt.
Other Details: Her self proclaimed greatest 'invention' was "Chasing the Eternal Alchemy", a text describing the discovery and development of the Eternal Alchemy. While many of her peers do not count this as an invention, it has still been successful as far as books go. She has a deranged little sister named Skapper, whom she loves dearly and would defend with her life.
Skapper Crieg:
Background: 4 years after Gladys, another girl was born into the family. Her parents had long since given up trying to be a human family, and after some strong negotiations from friends and family, the girl was given a normal Asuran name, Skapper. Curious and determined, Skapper was the stereotypical underdog who just wants to be respected by her peers. Her first Krewe, tasked with inventing a mind-reading device, was testing thier product when a malfunction occured with the machine. Skapper's mind was overwhelmed, hearing the thoughts and feelings of everyone in a 20 mile radius at once. With her brain properly fried, she fell into a deep coma. After 16 long years of intensive care and waiting for the girl to awaken, all hope to save her life was gone. Her krewmate Jevinn, who blamed himself for her injuries, found a way to convert a golem's artificial intelligence into a chip that could keep the girl's body going. After illigally implanting the chip, Skapper finally opened her eyes, but she wasnt herself anymore. Now she was "PM 366z", the peacemaker golem that Javinn had stolen the artificial intelligence from. Javinn fled Rata Sum leaving a devistated and infuriated Gladys to take care of the new Skapper Golem. With no memories of her family, krewemates, or ambitions, Skapper was degraded to doing simple mundane tasks. Doctors Speculate that over time she will regain her old self, but for now she travels around the Asuran lands, trying to "ass-ist" in all the ways she can.
Other Details: Gladys is very over protective of her, despite the fact that Skapper cannot remember her. Skapper does know her name, and will occasionally refer to herself as "Skapp-er", another thing she remembers is her love of cats. She takes an automatic liking to charr.

Good stuff you've got here! I've really liked how you already introduced most of Gladys' childhood through your comics but more backstory is always awesome! I bet Buixx would be one of the folks who has a copy of "Chasing the Eternal Alchemy" since he's always got his nose deep into any book about the Eternal Alchemy or other religions when he's not breaking some poor ghost's shins with a hammer.
Skapper's an interesting character! You can always count on the asura for experiments to go spectacularly wrong and fix things in an insane manner. Quite a sad turn of events though...
I wanted to draw Buixx's backstory but it would take me forever and a day to even get to his fistfights in grade school. Time to try to put some words and sentences together and see if I can get a proper summary!

Ever since she was young, Alethea Snow had a skill for speaking with the undead and summoning shadow creatures. Grenth had given a blessing to her when she had been born and thus, she trained under a prestigious priestess of Grenth who honed and perfected her skills as a necromancer. She soon became known for her strong will and her ability to run into enemies to bandage her fallen allies.
She still continues her journey in search of her own destiny and she continues to wait for someone who shares her passions.

Subject: Buixx
Species: Asura
Age: 41
Sex: Male
Profession: Guardian, Field Surgeon, Retired Peacemaker Officer
Aliases: Doc, Bonebreaker
Distinguishing Features: Scarred nose and cheek, Cigar
Height: Short
Build: Muscular
History:
Buixx was born into a family line of doctors and surgeons. His father, Jokk, is a surgeon and his mother, Yarii, a general doctor. His older sister Ajii is a well renown surgeon, little sister Caxxia is also studying in the medical field. Grandmother is a retired nurse and his grandfather was a warrior who died in combat. Buixx's family believes he got his unpleasant rowdy attitude from his grandfather... And it's easy to put the blame on someone who wasn't a stay at home doctor.
As a child, Buixx was your typical asuran- smart, sarcastic, and a bit eccentric but he was known to get into fights a lot. Arguments were the most common but occasionally broke into a fist fight when he was out of words. His fights were to defend someone else being bullied but he was the one who always got in trouble. His most notable fight was over a broken golem where the other kid slashed Buixx’s face with a shard of metal. His parents had enough of his fighting and sent him to the Peacemakers to learn some respect and control. Of course he still had to do his studies. Buixx worked in the Peacemakers even after he graduated from the College of Synergetics and rose to a respectable ranking. It was a great outlet for him to work out and train in weapons. His favorite being the hammer.
Buixx has a deep and passionate interest in the Eternal Alchemy and the religions of other races that rivals his drive for justice, which the latter manifests in his Guardian abilities. He's a rather calm fellow, but if you get him going on either subject you better brace yourself for an intense discussion of deities or bursts of blue flames. Alone, he collects and reads a massive number of texts on ideologies of the world.
He was not one to create a lot of inventions but he did make advances in spreading the use of high grade super glue and duct tape for stopping bleeding and closing cuts in the battle field for the lesser races if in a pinch. Oddly enough, it was a flop among charr. Buixx's work was more focused on being able to pull that giant sword out of your gut and closing the gaping would before bleeding out. Then onto the next patient! There’s also a few of his… extracurricular activities inventions that he enjoys keeping to himself. Although there was one that an ex girlfriend stole, redesigned, and is enjoying it a lot more than anything Buixx could do with her. He has refused to speak to her since.
After graduating from the College of Synergetics, Buixx only remained in Rata Sum for a few years due to rapidly growing boredom of only performing surgeries on unfortunate Dynamics students every time an experiment exploded and walking the same Peacemaker patrol route until he noticed a worn groove on the floor. There was also only so much he could learn of other deities from the library. Grawl aren't exactly avid writers or readers. Desperate for change of pace, he retired from both orders and set out on his own to explore the world, carrying a warhammer in one hand and an operating kit in the other set on joining the Durmand Priory to experience the melting pot of research and new discoveries.
For the last 10 years, Buixx has been traveling across battlefields performing countless operations under medical tents providing relief to the wounded and teaching younger apprentices as much as he can before he charges into the battle himself. After all the fighting is over and wounds no longer spurt blood, Buixx's personal research on the Eternal Alchemy and the ideologies of Tyria never ends.

Faebio:
Age: unknown
Sex: Male
Profession: Mesmer, Master of Seduction, Drinking Champion
Aliases: Faeb, Mr. Sparkle Butt
Story
On her word tour of Tyria, an asura came across a tavern in Hoelbrak. Having heard much about the strenuous drinking competitions of the Norn, the foolish girl marched right on in looking for a challenge. What she got was a corus of laugher, and a hazardous seat at the bar composed of two thick books and a stool. Despite her size, the chuckling bartender slid her a mug, which was about the same size as her head, ears and all. She managed to drain it, and while blushing a deep crimson, she asked for another. Three charr challenged her that night, three charr ended up passed out on the tavern floor. Now thoroughly drunk, she stood up on the bar and shouted her conquest to the tavern patrons. Again she was greeted by only laughter. Finally, a young norn stood up and sat next to her. It was a male, she knew this because of his lack of any clothing beyond a pair of purple shorts. If not for that distinguishing detail, the norn could be a very severe looking woman. He ordered two mugs. The other patrons cheered and catcalled, and she learned her challenger was 'Faebio' and that he had never lost a challenge.
She felt utterly sick, but was still able to keep up with her companion. However, the asura was quickly reaching her limit, having consumed what felt like more than her bodyweight in ale. Faebio didnt look too good either, and finally with a groan he fell to the floor, out cold. The asura followed him almost immediately, and when she awoke, she was greeted by the painful cheering and laughing of the other patrons.
One of them kneeled and asked her name. "Gladys" she drawled lazily, rubbing her temples. He stood on a stool, with one hand on his chest. "In full sight of the spirits," he announced, "The Asura-" a corus of mind shattering laughter, "Gladys is a perfect equal to the Norn Faebio, having beaten him in a drinking contest! A feat unacomplished by any other." The young norn appeared at his side, a slight grin on his face, "And in accordance to our laws, a norn may only marry she who is his equal!"
And just like that, she and the norn were husband and wife. She laughed along with the joke, and even took advantage of Faebio's help when he escorted her outside, but when she thanked him and set off, he followed her. Gladys turned, assured him that she was alright, that she required no more assistance, and continued to the nearest asura gate. Still he persisted. She ignored him, assuming that in his little attire he would go back inside. He did not. He followed her through the gate and back to lion's arch, then to the door of her home.
"Alright," Said Gladys, "I thank you for your concern but here is where we say our goodbyes." the norn looked at her, expressionless.
"Uhuh..." The asura said, pushing her door open. To her astonishment he followed her inside.
"May i ask what you are doing?" she said slowly, hardly believing his cheek.
"Accompanying my wife." he said simply, and sat on a couch that was too small for him.
From that day on Faebio would follow her about, insisting that they were indeed married. When asked about his folly, he answered that she was his only equal, ergo, his only potential bride. Gladys has no clue as to the norn's past, or even his age, and yet she managed with him. Over time it could be said that they had a real, affectionate, marriage; although Gladys will always be the first to warn you about the dangers of drinking with norn...

This norn tradition must be made canon. Hahaha, this is just too hilarious! I really love how he's like a overly fabulous drunk puppy that followed Gladys home. I bet he sheds hair and sparkles all over the lab.
Makes me glad that Buixx can't drink as much as a norn... Getting up to have to take a piss after only one giant mug is probably a disqualification, right?

Located somewhere deep and hidden in the Mists is a floating island upon which a peculiar mansion made of solid karma stands. No one knows the origin of this mysterious place, but who really knows much about the Mists at all?
Inside the mansion lived many children of different races and a lord who only identified himself as Murakami. Nothing is known about this man except that he was once a mist warrior many eons ago. Despite being a man born and raised in multi-universe combat in the Mists, he took excellent care of the children like a mother and father; giving them a well learned education as well as training them in armed combat. As for the children, their birth and origin are as deep a mystery as Murakami himself. Some rumours have it that he creates them out of some transcendental magic, while others say that he travels the shards of Tyria picking up orphans. No one knows the truth.
Of the many children who lived with Lord Murakami, Vinava, a human girl, and Xinava, a female Asuran, (both named by the Lord himself) were his best pupils when they grew up. Vinava excelled at close combat with the greatsword and was somewhat boyish in her behavior. Xinava studied extensively always and had a hobby of doing magic tricks. Being the best pupils of the Lord, Murakami awarded both of them with the honour of the Commander's Compendium, an item given only to those who had the heart, mind and strength to lead the other children of the Mists.
When they had grown up and were too old for Murakami to care for anymore, the duo were given freedom to roam the shards of the different realities of Tyria. Some of Vinava's friends from the mansion had moved to the shard named after the Tyrian Isles of Janthir and thought it was the best choice to move there.
It was here that Vinava and Xinava found their calling as leaders of Mist warriors and subsequently rose through the ranks to leadership of the guild Hired Assasins [HIRE] (which has its own lore including the reasoning behind the mispelling of assassins, which I will leave for another time).
After months of enjoying the Isle of Janthir shard, HIRE's mist warriors ran aground some personal issues and felt it best to reform in the Shard of Ehmry Bay. Most of the Hired Assasins successfully warped through the mist portals from IoJ to EBay but sadly some did not.
The two Nava's enjoy this shard and have decided to never go through the mentally draining process of changing again. You can find them today fighting in the Mist wars or chilling with the citizens of Ehmry Bay's Lion's Arch outside the bank and if they aren't there, they may be visiting Lord Murakami in his karma mansion in the Mists.

Will openly call them an idiot, waste of time, waste of matter, waste of resources. Holds grudges easily.

Will openly accept innocent affection, but will pass romantic endeavors with the ‘Married’ card, regardless of mutual feelings.

Due to her name, she was an outcast in childhood, and will get the odd insult to this day.
15. How do they respond to orders? If it’s someone they respect? If someone they don’t respect?

16. Do they have any racial, lifestyle, gender, or other xenophobic tendencies that make them disrespect or distrust others? Were they raised by this belief?

18. How do they greet a foe?
Will openly call them an idiot and tell them to go away.

1. What is their full name?
Buixx ( pronounced like Buick )
2. What is their title, rank, or nickname? How did they get it?
Retired Captain of the Peacemakers
MD ( Doctor of Medicine ) specializing in Trauma Surgery and General Surgery
Class 1 Combat Medical Technician
3. Fight or Flight? Why?
Fight. There's no retreating until everyone is safe.
4. What was their education like?
Many, many hours of college classes and a few years of training in a hospital
5. How do they view time? (Obsessing over the past, worrying about the future, etc)
It passes and you move on.
6. How do they express love or affection to others?
Aloof in public, but very passionate in private. Simply jokes around with friends.
7. How do they express dislike or hatred to others? How do they show hatred for an ally or other undesired companion?
Biting sarcasm, rude gestures, and medical malpractice. Don't ask him to patch up your wound if he hates you unless you enjoy having a finger jabbed in it.
8. How do they react when others express love or affection to them? If they like them back?
Mostly embarrassed, tries to pass it off as nothing. Blushes heavily from ear to ear if he has an interest in the other.
9. How to they react when someone expresses hatred of a dislike for them? If it’s someone they trust or respect?
Laughs it off and tends to egg them on into a fight. If it's someone he trusts or respect, he refuses to acknowledge them. They're not worth his time anymore.
10. Why do they fight? Do they enjoy violence or do it for a cause?
For what he feels is right and for the raw excitement of it. He enjoys a good brawl as much as reading research journals.
11. How do they react to uncomfortable, dangerous, or awkward situations?
Tries his best to put on a poker face or distracts himself by puffing on a cigar. Nothing's going on but man, this is a fine stogie.
12. How old are they? Does their age affect their ability to act honestly? (Are too young to make decisions, senile, etc)
41 years old. He's honestly blunt and expects others to be the same to not waste his time.
13. Do they have any heartfelt beliefs that can obstruct progress? (A religious zealot with strange customs, taken a vow of silence, etc)
No, just very stubborn about finishing fights.
14. Are they a social deviant or outcast? What alienates them from the norm?
Used to be a rowdy kid who got into fist fights and then later became a playboy in college. He's mostly grown out of both now.
15. How do they respond to orders? If it’s someone they respect? If someone they don’t respect?
If it's from a superior, he's a well trained soldier. But if it's some nobody, they get nothing but a smoke ring blown in their face. He prefers to be the one giving orders.
16. Do they have any racial, lifestyle, gender, or other xenophobic tendencies that make them disrespect or distrust others? Were they raised by this belief?
Tends to have trouble with charr patients being fussy so he's rougher with them to get it done and over with.
17. How do they greet a friend?
A simple nod and a "Hey."
18. How do they greet a foe?
A warhammer in one hand and a beckoning gesture in the other.
19. Do they have any unsettling habits?
Cigar smoking, playing with holy fire and an interest in bondage.
20. Do they have any overpowering fears?
None.
