Haven would definitely be interested in something like this. I'll have to talk to people to figure out what our online presence at that time would be, but it would be AWESOME to be able to do t3 bounties for the merits.

Just a reminder, you can have multiple guild missions each week. You could do the guild bounty T3 with few people and then another one later on (maybe T1) where everyone can just go after the same target and kill it. Everyone gets their commendations and the guild still gets its merits.

I know. We'd do a smaller bounty later for everyone to get their chest, but we want to be getting the most merits possible a week.

I put this on Haven's calendar, so it's legit now.
Should be able to muster up at least a full party group for this from HC. I'll probably be the one getting on the Ehmry TS. If you could assign a specific channel as the go to channel for this, it'd be great. Last time I tried to get on for an event, I didnt know where to go.

Just a few questions,
1) Does the guild with the bounty have to activate the bounty in order to get credit? For example, say both HC and TOSH had Half baked on their list. If TOSH activated it, but an HC member or two were there and helped kill it, do we know if HC would also get the bounty credit?
2) Do we know if there's a minimum number of guildies that have to be there to hit the target in order to get credit? Like, say we could only get 6 Haven members out and sent one to each of our bounties, would we get bounty credit for that?

I'll understand if no one has any idea. this weekend could be like a test run. Just trying to answer some worried guildies' questions.

PUNK is interested in being a part of this. We're planning on running bounties on Mondays and Thursdays at 10EST for maximum participation, but we've got some flexibility with the scheduling if necessary.

Alright, it took me a bit, but I've got your answers. To get credit, a member from the guild has to tag the bounty... even if it's just one person. Also, I don't believe there's a minimum number of people required to hit the target.

It'd have to be on Saturday at reset where the others have agreed as well ;( You only have to have 6 people to do it.

This is not the PLAN it is a question.

OK...so we are a go for this evening - 03/16/2013 - at 5 server time...5pm EST. I plan to have 1 body at each of the 12 listed with a team or 2 of attack squad folks ready to hit the targets that our guild is assigned. Once we start the bounty, my vent will split to the 6 we have and the 2 attack squads will hit their intended targets. IS that acceptable or do I need to adjust this?

How will I know where to send the squads? will a list be posted of who is supposed to hit what?

I plan to check here and can TS3/vent /mumble as needed. IGN is "Book of ..." the last part changes based on the character...but the Book is always the same

I need an exact ingame name to contact you by. We're meeting on TS3... guild leaders at least will be. I'm making up a google docs on the strategy I've come up with that should be more than enough for each guild to get everything killed in no time flat. I'll link it when I've finished it up ;)

So...a few thoughts. I am sorry that we at TEW were able to field such a small contingent. We did have 8 show up and we just decided to send folks out to scattered zones to help others get their bounties. There was a bit of confusion about the locations and my peoples ability to locate them. With that in mind, i'd like to ask for a favor or two. First, when the guild coordinator (those in TS  coordination channel) sends their people across the map and the bounties are found...once the bounty starts...a few of their people hit enter to bring up the type chat box and ping the closest waypoint in MAP chat but not to hit enter...just leave it sitting there. That way, others who enter that zone and ask about the location of the bounty can get an immediate answer without taking too much time on the part of the person engaged in the struggle. PLease let your people know that someone from your guild only has to hit the target a few times to get the full personal and guild reward...so there IS time. Secondly, is there any information on the scaling of these bounties? if they do indeed scale up a great deal when more and more people show up, please let your folks know that it is OK to back away from a bounty that has 15-20 people engaged and that is not on your list.
Overall, I really like that we are doing this and I would like to tip my hat to the coordinator who brought this into fruition. I will plan to put this Sunday evening event on our calendar and see if we can get a consistent 18-22 people every week...9:30 EST.

I'll continue trying to do this each and every week regardless of showing. If we fail, we fail, but I believe that with a little more experience through trial and error that we will be able to have more guilds complete these more and more often.

Sorry haven didn't make it. I was tired from working mon through sat and then dumb Easter sunshine making me tired. Literally, our entire guild roster said either rata sum or super adventure box. No one wanted to unplug and go find bounties.
