I had been meaning to post this for a while kept forgetting. First scuplt I've ever done. Polymer Clay (Super Sculpey). Almost time to bake her, Just need to finish up the base and clean up some of the rough spots.

Couple days ago I peeled the hair off and redid the face a little bit. looks much better now.

Mmmm, Not sure, honestly. I worked on it for several hours a day for several weeks. As it was my 1st sculpt i've ever done, and 1st time working with polymer clay, so A LOT of trial and error. Maybe around 70 hours? Maybe more, Maybe less. I can't even say for sure.

Very cool. The detail on the armor is impressive. Although that pinkish color is kinda weirding me out for some reason.

I've wanted an asura figure since beta (because of course the collector's edition of the game came with a Rytlock figure ). I entertain vague hopes that someone will try 3D-printing the in-game model sometime.

I thought about taking commissions for sculptures, but I'm bad at setting prices. Also, with as much time as it took me to make this as detailed as I did, I'm not sure anyone would be willing to pay a price to make it worth my time. Then again there was a lot of trial and error in this. I could probably do it faster a second time. I'm just not sure how much faster.

As far as the color, I fully intend to paint this once I bake it.

Meet Lahrkk. My Mesmer. This is actually a small part of a larger image I am doing of all my Asura Characters. Fraani (engi), Rixx (Teef), Maal (Necro) and Lahrkk (mesmer).

This image isn't completely polished, but I really like it.

I probably could at work we have a 3D printer for small development parts...tho id need a step file of it and well clearance to do it haha
+ I still need to clean out the extruder noozle and such so it be pure black at moment if it came out hot of the presses.

I know some people have extracted the asura model/textures and done some basic pose manipulation, so I imagine it'd be possible to eventually translate that into a 3D print/figure.


Also: cookies and lemonade are all well and good, but what about lemon cookies? Better yet, lemon cakes?
I might or might not simply be looking for an excuse to make lemon cakes again. So much work, but so tasty.
