That's not saying that I don't understand what you're saying, and it sucks to hear this sort of thing is going on.  More that I don't see a need for this to be a thread.  If you have friends you want to say goodbye to, you can always message them privately in-game to say your goodbyes.  And it's not like you'd be "gone" anyways, guesting is still a "thing" and you could still play content with them using those mechanics.

But by making a thread of it, you really give those people way too much power over you.  You essentially gave them a "victory".

i don't feel i gave them a victory. They never made public statements about me (at least not til recently when people felt like they needed to call me out, as they gained more numbers like a childish gang of immature "hardcore" players who have nothing better to do), and resort to underhanded methods of spreading rumors under the table. so i feel it is a victory to make a public statement and be open about it.

it is a public issue that has involved many people on the server as far as i am aware and to this day I don't know how far things have spread, AS WELL, MY FRIENDS too, some which have been defending me have received whispers from random people they don't know badmouthing me. this is a public issue.

To those people who listen to these kinds of things, buys into it and believes it, I'm here to say that they don't know anything about me, and believe because they see me on the ledge (and is hanging on the ledge a problem?) I don't want to leave without saying a word about the truth, that, to me, marks me as a victim. This, to me, is to say I don't take shit from people. And I have snapped at people who try to attack me and will continue to do so.

If there was records or full video proof of my entire gameplay career, it will contain lots of great accomplishments and great play, yet, people will believe their own skewed version of reality.

Let this be clear, that there are such people and large amounts of such people who have listened to this stuff and spread it and feed on it, and also that, I won't stay silent to unfair treatment and bullshit.

What's worse is, the people who actually do leave stay on the forums to essentially continue whining, griping, annoying, and poaching.  There's a difference between using the forums to stay in touch with the community and using it to kick Ebay when it's down.

this may not be addressed to me, but i've been here on ehmry for a year since launch, so i think my stay is already considered permanent and i've paid my dues.

and on the other hand, i haven't made the actual transfer yet as I'm still spending some time with friends, and will guest to different servers to visit friends in other servers and see how their communities are faring. Still deciding where at this point, but ill make this public statement to put down my foot and say there's no more of hidden secret whispers of people who care too much about someone else's gameplay and fun

If you no longer enjoy the game or place you are, it becomes a chore. I lost the enjoyment of this game some time in the beginning of the year. It could possibility  because of the responsibility of being Co-lead of PK. I.e. A job, within a game. I could have been something completely different. However, once something loses its luster there is no reason to continue. If it be server or game or real life. Chances are you are not going to re-find said enjoyment in the same location.

Off topic, I can't believe how quickly this turned into a "girl gamers are victims" thread. I agree that girl gamers are the subject of more online bullshit that anyone else, but that does not mean that every girl gamer is then in turn a blameless victim. Pushing that nonsense is what propagates the problem, not solves it. It's giving a green light to do negative things and then allowing that person to hide behind the victim card... but only if they're a girl. I know many women who play video games and aren't in situations like this.

On topic, I don't hate you Reina. In fact, I pretty much keep to myself and my guild anymore. But what I would caution against is a holier-than-thou attitude (read: your whole post) and your choice to omit things if you're going to make bold statements. As an unsolicited third party perspective, I will attempt to only use information I've found in public spaces as to avoid a "he said/she said" debate. This is what I've seen, in an attempt to shed some light on why people might be responding to you in this way.

The prime example of omission is the crux of your argument that you claim to have "never asked for anything" and you only got things from close friends and nobody else. I remember this post pretty well. And if it wasn't the initial post that was serious (with the Lololol... or something... Somehow... Or not), I'm pretty sure the "OMG OMG OMG I JUST NEED T6 MATS (if anyone is willing to donate)" was. What people seem to have a general problem with is using cutesy little (lolol jk i mean not really possibly seriously if you want to) sorts of things. I know I tend to perceive that as some sort of emotional manipulation, whether that was the intent or not. That's hated from both women and men alike. And even if the post wasn't serious, you appear to have accepted everything anyway.

Couple that with the countless posts of "look at all my shinies!" that many people apparently don't believe you truly "earned" yourself and are now publicly parading around (from personal experience, it sucks when you work for months for something that you think is special because of your hard work and dedication, and then someone else gets one in just a few days just because they want it and then makes a big public event around it. On a smaller scale the same goes for the SAB trib weapons and such). As you have no doubt discovered, if you're going to do things like that in such a public manner you're bound to end up with some dislike, and if you want to keep doing those things you have to be willing to accept the backlash.

It's not that you have these things (i'm all about dress up and skins in this game, that's really all it's about for me too), and it's not that you sit on a ledge/accept gifts/have friends play for you, it's a combination of both. It's that you're attaining these high end commodities in a way that nobody else can, which makes it unfair. I'm sure it feels like exploitation for some for that very reason. If you really can't see how viewing something like that as a third party would feel bad and cause people to act out because of that, I think you might be blinded by your own perspective. The "look, you guys are just butthurt" approach makes you look childish, and just invites more of the same negativity you're experiencing. You're focusing on the few choice words some people have used against you and masking the true underlying issues behind those words.

I would caution you that what you believe you're putting out there, and what other people are actually perceiving, may in fact be different things. Whether or not you "try to" charm and whether or not you actually do are different things as well. I've said this before to other members of the community, "if this many people dislike you, you can't rule out the possibility that it's something you're doing." So before you blame the server for your departure, consider that it may not be Ehmry's fault that you are leaving. Perhaps it is your own hubris that has led you to this decision. And if that's the case, I doubt you'll find sanctuary anywhere else, and I doubt this post will resonate with you at all anyway. Best of luck.

This isn't about personal gain it's about exposing Reina for what she really is. She's abusing friendships and exploiting her feminine side for personal gain but claiming in public that she really doesn't do it.

First of all that screenshot, private or not, was bc the person i'm asking stated in public forum that he has thousands of gold he sits on and doesn't use and would lend to his friends, so I figured I might as well ask, since I was saving for something at the time. I don't see a problem there, other than saying i never ask, i don't consider this asking at all. This was an invitation imo, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Secondly, every post I made asking for donations were out of trolling/joking sake. notice I use words like Acquisition Fund, and so forth. And everyone knows i love shinies, and have always been posting stuff with shinies, it is something for fun for amusement of everyone. I never once thought about my image outside of having a little fun cuz i figured ppl don't really care.

Reality and eveyrone else, you can read it into the way you want, but it is fact that I never received anything from anyone else. Since we have names and people replying now, I don't need to keep things private. But Jay Sykes once offered me 50 ecto after hearing my need for an ascended accessory (the one that costs ecto) out of his kind nature. And I refused. I said i would only buy it. And paid him gold for it. Ask him

If you ever talk to any of my real friends, whom have helped me or not, they will tell u i am genuinely a good friend, and that is the only reason I would receive any help. I listen to people I will talk to people privately and be interested in their well being.

Shhhh Realz you still arent over that ;P Even though I am a girl I dont get anything from anyone besides my friends necros and wyeat (But I also helped them too like help necros do dungeons/wvw/crafting ascended mats and wyeat i gave her a expensive dagger) Or I help someone and they help me in return.

Ok, I planned to stay out of this but I was told my name was mentioned so fuck it.

Firstly I will say I offered Reina ectos which she said she would pay for that is true, but, I was then asked to sell them for less than they was worth. I decided to do that as Reina is/was a friend.

Secondly all of you and I do mean all of you need to realise a few things

1. This is getting old fast. We now know and have pic proof that Reina Asked for stuff which she claims she didnt, so yes she lied.

2. The person that she asked obviously didnt offer the gold, if he/she had they wouldnt have taken a pic of her asking for it.

3. I have heard personally from Vocaloid Jay that he did log into her account to do Teq because, and I quote ''she asked me to''.

4. Anyone that still chooses to disagree with all the proof about Reina are obviously loyal friends to her.

5. and most importantly, you all need to just leave this alone, no point flogging a dead horse. All of you grow up and move on.
