that's fine sanji, as long as we don't get the full swarm within the first 5 or 10 minutes lol.  She rage quit in wvw her first few times just trying to get map completion and getting killed by a duo with me before.  So let's start slow like a camp or two before trying to ninja hills

If my wife was any good at pvp that might work, unfortunately she freezes up as soon as a player starts attacking her That's why she runs minion, she doesn't do good under pressure.  She's almost the definition of casual when it comes to playing.  She's getting better but she's really nervous to come in the first place.  That's why we need to give her loads of support and stuff to make a PvD player out of her

Ps Edit: hey sanji I know you wanted to hit legendary status with the guild recruit post but we are well on or way to be the most commented post on the forum.  With only like 5 or 6 people commenting lol

Believe me, I know how that feels. When I first started getting into multiplayer games, I was very nervous and flustered whenever I entered a PvP zone—being ganked by some asshat 40 levels higher than me just seemed terribly rude. Eventually, though, I think my subconscious realized it was just a game, and once you learn how to play it, there's fun to be had.

My build is power with an uncontrollable golem.  Minions don't listen to a word you say (I know cuz I have a guild full of of them). They are unpredictable when you try to fight something.  My water build has minions because I don't swim well and hate underwater fighting.  I think we can come up with a build that has more life then mine but still melt the enemy with very little struggle in play.  It might be a cross breed of more health and conditions then power.  I do not suggest  full zerker for her if she freezes when attacked (her death will come to quick), maybe a p/vit/f & zerker mix so she can just spam wells and marks.  She will have to watch out for ranged attacks tho so will also need an immobilizer with dagger skill 3.  Having the right food and utility will also help.  My game play is differrent then everyones because I have to depend on my mouse for skills and mobility, so I like to either hug my friends tightly or stay the heck out of the way.

Hope I'm home in time to run with you guys.  I would love to give Sanji more head shaking of "why did you do that".

I'm going to try and rope sanji in at least for a bit wife my wife is getting used to it.  After a little while I'm sure we will do something stupid though.  I'll probably be on for at least a couple hours, idk about my wife though she might go to bed earlier then me

I have the same problem too - especially when in a group with others. Dying and letting enemies rally off my corpse and causing a full party wipe is something I really really really don't want to do, and yet that's all my brain will focus on sometimes (rather than focusing on fighting well). Instead, I freeze up and fat finger keys. Eventually I'll get in to a rhythm and get used to it and past that irrational worry, but ugh. When I first went into WvW it was even worse; shaking hands and trembling fingers and utter uselessness. At least that's mostly gone now.

Well stop deleting your posts ya silly   But yeah that's almost exactly how my wife is, she just freezes up and stops doing anything because she doesn't even know what to do.  Can't process it fast enough

Dont worry Tat, I'm stilll like that when I get into a fight. I get excited and PRESS ALL THE BUTTONS, and its not ever the right set of buttons.

It's extra fun when you think you have your main weap set out but NO you actually have a kit out and you're pushing buttons anyway because BUTTONS! and then suddenly your entire rotation has been reduced to a hot mess and that uplevel just massacred you.
